I went with my ex to check out the car a couple months back. Got it inspected, and it has a major oil leak, brakes/rotors need replacing, it has physical damage underneath the front, was quoted 3k to fix. and also owned by buddyguy

Can the rust be fixed let's say we get the car for like 5kish. Is it worth to fix the rust. That way we have a low km dc5 for 6k

Lol, the current owner told me, he bought without inspection. So weird how he bought it for high 7k now selling for like 6k. I wonder how much needs to be done for it to be okay.

it's not just the bodywork. there are other things to consider, such as how is the exhaust system? what is the underbody corrosion like? just looking at that rear brake caliper is making me think aw hell no. i can't imagine what the suspension is like. everything is probably seized together... just run away. or take it to VIP and ask them for a rust repair quote.

if you buy this, you will be paying someone for the privilege of taking this from them, and then soon after you will be selling it for $1k less than you bought it for and there will be no takers.

which model year of SE-R?

I don't understand why you'd have a rusty out of province car instead of local good shape with higher mileage. I'll take higher miles over rust and stories especially on a Honda
