Good catch.

Used to live near there. I remember hearing the cars on late summer days.

I miss the old Coquitlam...

Lol. I guess it really shows what class you're in :p 8k is more than most people pay for their main (or only) car

Not by RS demographic. The $14 doller/hr ballers are buying $30k+ brand new cars with funds saved from not having to pay rent living under parent's roof.

320icar 01-05-2016 07:08 PM

^^ I also based that on his signature. Though I guess it doesn't matter. If buying a car specifically for winter, I don't understand why you wouldn't opt for AWD. There's a plethora of choice for under or around 8k

Anyone know about this car?
Been for sale for a while.. lowered the price a lot too. With all the engine work and running 11.8psi you'd expect bigger numbers..
Also anyone know about this one?
2000 Acura Integra GSR Turbo
Guy kept saying it's got a JB 6262 I'm guessing he meant PT6262 journal bearing lol

That ugly momo steering wheel is keeping buyers away. :awwyeah:

Renthal 01-05-2016 08:10 PM

lotsa k's and auto but it's pretty 540 wagon

Touring Wagon Saanich, Victoria

westopher 01-05-2016 10:51 PM

7400 and has 300+K?
No fucking thank you.
Wife's mom had one. It was nice, but she sold hers in the same condition/milage for $1000.
Unless that car has a stack of service records with more pages than the bible (I assume the bible is thick?) thats an atrocious price.

the second one... did it not used to belong to someone here before?

knight604 01-06-2016 07:00 PM

don't think they sold those cars in canada...

Probably would take the grey one over the white one just based on the clist ad description..

TopsyCrett 01-06-2016 07:04 PM

This has been up for a while, Seems so sketchy though... wonder what's wrong with it. Probably has all the MSP common quirks.

2013 Buick LaCrosse for $18,500 in RICHMOND | autoTRADER.ca

acc to VMR, wholesale is 19925 and retail is 23075

not sure if available anymore. Owners are probably flexible considering it's a private sale

haha! I didn't mean it to come off that way, I apologize. My first car was a 88 Civic and I loved that thing. I always will be a Honda guy and when I saw that you can get a modern Civic for $8K I thought that was a good deal. That's all.

hud 91gt 01-07-2016 07:56 AM

That doesn't count if it was 1989 when you had that '88 civic!

haha j/k Just busting your balls.

is the 1L/5000km oil consumption acceptable as he says it is? all i know is that when i used to have my mk5 vw gti 1L/1000kms was considered "within norm" :(

The fact that he has most of the parts for an "engine rebuild" says a lot to the condition of the current motor imo.
