Would love to put collector plates on that and have it for second vehicle but I'm sure maintenance bills would be atrocious

Proper Rebuild of an S38 motor is easily $10,000... Not a cheap car to maintain... And I would think this example is probably close to needing one.

Dude writes his ad like he's selling a 2005 Toyota Corolla. I'm pretty sure this is the same e34 from dt last summer. Original owner who didn't do any work and car needs serious restorative mechanical work

"Motor runs well and never let me down"

In other words, "it's running good and I've never done any engine work aside from plugs and oil, so it'll probably need expensive work ASAP which is why I'm selling".

I have admit though this car looks really nice other than a couple panel gaps.
Go make an offer with this article:

Don't get me wrong, I like it and don't think it's such a bad deal especially if it's maintained well. I'd drive that generation TL any day over other ones.

Obviously there's a reason it has come down. Wasn't Matty the POS who kept trying to sell that rebuilt s2k as clean? Surprises me fktard like this guy is still working.

I don't even want to imagine the maintenance costs on a German W12-powered car.

At first glance it's pretty ugly, but largely because the wheel setup is terrible. I feel like if it had some decent deep offset wheels to fit the widebody fenders it might look alright, current wheels are horrendous. Change the headlights back too. Not many people spend money on a carbon fibre body kit.

some super fat work mesiters S1's would do the trick...

some bigger AP racing brakes...

Roll bar.

Voltex swan neck wing.

single turbo conversion....

then should be a nice poser car.

the ad says power mods without specifics, but the engine bay looks very stock?

i was also thinking those where jdm side markers on the front fenders... and then i realized it's just those stick on reflectors they slap on to pass gov't inspection

i see the FnF graphics on one side...

but nothing on the other side...

can't figure out if they went halfway on putting it on or taking it off
