I think Lotus sold the project and the tools to Kia in 1995. so anything after 1995 was build by Kia with the Lotus tools and parts in Korea.

That STI has to be fake, or the owner is over exaggerating about his WRX.

The details state that the car is a 5 speed, but STIs have the 6 speed.

He also bumped it about 15 times before ever posting photos. If you want to sell a car, and ask top dollar for it, make a fucking proper ad.

Looks nice from 20 feet away.
Lots spent making the car look pretty and fast with little/no attention given to body or structural integrity (look at pic of rear, below the rear bumper).
Unless I'm totally wrong, this car will be a pile of twisted rust after a few years of moderately hard driving.
IMHO if your gonna dump so much into a ride, do it RIGHT and ensure the body can handle it first!

The fact the engine was done at specialty engineering makes me want to believe there wasn't a dollar spared. He does too notch work at a top notch price. I want to believe the chassis was capable of a build without a total frame off restoration. I don't think he'd let it happen any other way.
