1991 Ford Taurus SHO Plus - White

Low KM with a decent price but I wouldn't be surprised if this ad was fake

Who buys a SHO in Toronto and drives it all the way across this great land to flip it in Vancouver for $3500? Crackpipe. And now for something completely different:

Single car garage for $160 in east van.

I'm sure you can drive it home with some roadkill-esque feat of daring. But I'd rather get it home and do a full once over to make sure things actually work and are in a safe manor. Who knows how old the rubber brake lines are etc

What would you say a fair range for the 250 be?
I understand the general consensus is that the 350 is a much better car to get, but there aren't that many used ones for sale.

I understand the general consensus is that the 350 is a much better car to get, but there aren't that many used ones for sale.
The best advice I can give is to be patient. It took me 2 months to find my IS350. Check on Craigslist every day and be active in your emails/communication.

I didn't test drive any 250s, but I would recommend a 350 if your budget allows because the 250 is slow.

Honestly, the 250s and 350s in BC are overpriced, and 250s are priced higher than 350s. I'd probably recommend a price range for a good condition, clean title, well maintained IS250 to be bout 9k-11k, and a IS350 to about 11k-13k.

If you have time, I would recommend maybe checking Kijiji for Alberta (I was considering it myself, because I went on a family trip to Calgary)
The condition of the cars are worse because of dirt/dust, but the prices are lower. Good luck!

1998 BMW 540i Alpina B10 V8 118K's 340hp

Would something like this be considered a good buy? I never knew this style 5 series came as an Alpina.

Alpina hasn't made an exciting car since 1996
They just became watered down attempts at M cars with pinstripes. The alpinas of old were complete masterpieces.

Its been for sale for like a year or so, I would stick away from it (mainly because I can't own an automatic bmw).

Not to mention the passenger side mirror looks damaged

if you want an alpina and you dont want to go through an importer to get one from japan its pretty much your only option.

id say its reasonably priced. i would ask to see the auction sheet, they claim its 4/5 which seems suspicious as 5 is brand new and 4.5 is super low mileage mint used, at best it was a grade 4 which is still really good

beyond that its a cool car, i think the 4.6 is the same or similar to the one used is the x5 4.6is
