Selling my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. This is a running driving car, and is currently insured and driven. This car is a real head turner, and has a classic look . With black paint, lots of chrome, and red interior, this is a beautiful car. This car comes with a box full of extra chrome pieces, and a car cover. This car could use some TLC but is a great ride. This car has a stock 390 4 barrel. Please contact Roger at show contact info
$3750

That s54 with throttle bodies and no air filter scares me

RE-Jo 07-16-2017 02:54 AM

In one of the pic you can see the realtor plate "Chris Neely". He is in fact a realtor in the lower mainland. So the ad may be real after all, unless the person took the time to photoshop a fake for sale sign in the background. But again, he could have stolen the pictures from another local owner :P

I live close to there.

I notice the fence and colour of the power box in the Craiglist pictures are different than the fence in the Google Maps pictures. So, I wonder which are the newer ones. I haven't paid attention to that stuff while driving by, lol.

Looks like a decent daily, 02 A4, 3.0L, 159K kms, Quattro, manual, well maintained, $3750. Stance looks like it is slightly lowered.

If that's all it needs to clear CEL, at that price and low mileage, might be still worth it.

yup. it should be the case, as the oil pressure was not reading correctly as indicated on the dash warning light.

nice interior. exterior is reasonable.

I have the carproof report if need be.

So tempting. This so close to 996 pricing.

Good buy if everything else checks out.

Car has CERAMIC BRAKES. This is very rare as was a mega-$$$ option and if the rotors are in good shape, is fantastic. If not - switch to iron as you are talking $10K+ for a set of rotors.

Mark

The Producer 07-17-2017 01:41 PM

^^ i'd be surprised if it actually has them. most people don't know what they are and think upgrading their pads = "ceramic brakes"

The car is very tempting regardless

I honestly think that would be the case. Upgrade factory brake pad to some ceramic compound pads = ceramic brakes.

I doubt back in 2005 Porsche offers ceramic brake package for C2S. It was only Turbo S and GT2/3 that have the option to upgrade if I remember correctly.

edit: However it has yellow and 6 pistons caliper on the first pictures which indicate it's ceramic brake package. Regardless it's a good buy for sure. You can always resell the ceramic brake package for $$ and spend half of them to put on regular brake which is good enough for C2S anyways. Or just be a baller driving it around, those should last 100k km.
