The z4 is also a lot more luxurious, between that and way more torque I'd certainly prefer it for around town. The difference in price will more than offset extra repair cost.

Could almost get both these for price of ap1 s2k lol

1998 Acura Integra Type R - $16500 (North Vancouver)

2007 BMW Z4 3.0si - $17250 (Victoria)

Honda S2000 - $32000

Already sold, get ready to see it back up on CL in a couple of weeks for an asking price a few grand higher.

I believe it's the same M54b25 found in the e46 325, same typical m54 issues. Also is that rust behind the badge or the turn signal integrated with the badge? Good buy? Decent buy? Bad buy? (If that is rust, bad buy.)

That ITR has been for sale for months now. I understand it has a colorful history. That z4 looks great. Pictures are at Elk Lake/Beaver Lake.

Every time I see a clean S2K on CL Vancouver without visible BC plates I assume it is fake.

I think the Aero model designation is for the ones with the 2.8L V6 turbo motor. This one has the 2.0t.

^ Saab does have a nice look to them. I think it's cuz they look low to the ground. Too bad they are out of production making repairs a bit of a concern.

2011 9-3 Sedan, 70K kms, $9800 (bit high)

Yes, it happens occasionally. When it's happened to me, I've shut my computer down for a few minutes and rebooted and it works again.

2004 Audi A4, 3.0L, S-Line, 203K kms, $4950. I think this might be the UltraSport Trim if I'm not mistaken.

There's another one similar in Victoria - 2005, similar kms, manual, asking for $8K

agreed. but I'm not sure how much has really changed lately? it seems like the true test of a CL good buy is how long the listing stays live. Case in point the Z4 that was just posted, sold super fast.

Most of the postings should be classed as "Craigslist cars another car enthusiast with the same taste in cars as me might like"

I wish I'd bought the Z4 2.5i for $5,500. I could have bought an N54 engine and 6MT tranny to swap in and built a super fun little car with an engine guaranteed to deliver lots of wallet-draining fun.

and if you think times are tough in CL car world, try and find a decent deal on a used liter bike on CL.
