Kinda sad to see Mexico eliminated because that means we won't get to see anymore of Miguel Herrera's crazy celebrations on the sidelines :lol

wow holland really kept it until the end there

was hoping to see it go into extra time but oh well, gotta feel for Mexico they played so well especially Ochoa he blocked a lot of great attempts

Taxmonkey 06-30-2014 10:35 AM

Quite an achievement for Herrera, being the manager paid the least in the entire World Cup Tournament. Great job on Mexico, but that final penalty could definitely have been avoided.

akira112 06-30-2014 02:03 PM

Wow Germany in extra time! You guys see the shot of the German fan with the Canucks cap right after the goal?

2nd goal they only showed the crowd

Tough break for Algeria seemed like they had the skill/talent/opportunity to beat Germany especially with just 1 minute left to play! gg though

StylinRed 07-01-2014 10:33 AM

wow talk about exciting end to the Argentina Switzerland game

underscore 07-01-2014 10:45 AM

Pucker factor must have been high for Argentina near the end there.

hal0g0dv2 07-01-2014 01:54 PM

dam usa could of had it in that last min

FatalCloud 07-01-2014 02:10 PM

is it just me or the us relies on counter-attack way too much, they don't keep possession very much and that's why they're under siege most of the time like today. it's kind of strange because they're coached by a german, and germans are known for being a possession win team style? i guess it's the players

StylinRed 07-01-2014 02:13 PM

Belgium suddenly turned it on in this extra time, nice!

Harvey Specter 07-01-2014 02:15 PM

Thank god the US is good as gone.

radioman 07-01-2014 02:16 PM

Yeah, Lukaku and the Sherminator really connected well there.

Wow, Green just silenced his critics there, lack of first team ball or international experience didn't stop him that time.

Exciting last 15 that's for sure. Pretty good game. Howard was a colossus as usual.

6o4__boi 07-01-2014 02:33 PM

whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that was close

thank god Murrica is out

pastarocket 07-01-2014 02:38 PM

The Brazil vs. Columbia quarterfinal match should be fun to watch.

Neymar vs. Rodriguez. :woot2:

HonestTea 07-01-2014 05:40 PM

Phew...Argentina sure took their sweet time scoring lol

MESSIIIIIIIIII!

Harvey Specter 07-02-2014 03:16 AM

The funniest shit I heard after the US lost was some soccer pundit on MSNBC this morning claiming the US can win it all in 2018, lulz like seriously? There really comes a time after your teams been defeated to just stfu and move on and that time would be now.

MarkyMark 07-02-2014 05:17 AM

I would love it if the US won the World Cup. All those butthurt soccer fans around the globe would probably riot lol

underscore 07-02-2014 09:42 AM

Looking at the shot count, the US has a hell of a goaltender.

Ikkaku 07-02-2014 10:26 AM

Tim Howard used to play for Manchester United and now plays for Everton. I think that's a pretty good repertoire.

Just a tidbit for those who don't know who the USA goalie is.
