on the Mitsu Eclipse ~8L/100km on the Gixxer ~5L/100km... that is, doing between 8,000 and 10,000 rpms nearly every weekend on the way to Squamish and back for no reason other than to ride. |

Maintenance is not as bad as alot of people make it out to be, my particular one was babied and in the past 2 years I've never had anything go wrong. If the car was abused and the car was constantly at 8000 RPM and LC'd..... no joke keep 10K aside for repairs.. |
About 14L/100km in the city, 8-9L/100km on the highway or even a bit better. I accelerate harder than I should most of the time though. |

1992 Toyota Truck. I drive very cautiously and slowly, avoid lead-footing unless absolutely necessary... 15-18L per 100 KM. 1986 Corolla GTS Rip it to 3500 RPM in each gear, due to gearing 100km/h highway cruising in 5th gear is about 3800 RPM... basically I rip the hell out of her with no regard for fuel economy. 10L per 100KM, usually I can get 7-8L per 100KM if I drive like a granny. That feel when your weekend fun car is cheaper to run than your commuter... FML |
