9 drafts now with the worst pick being a 10th pick and yet still not much to show. I'm not sure who I feel sorry for but it's pretty sad. As a fan, I can understand building a Championship Team or even a competitive team takes time but at least show me signs of improvement year from year even if its 16th place > 15 > 14 > 13 but the Oilers seem to have made zero improvement in almost a decade it's sickening to watch.

I feel sorry for the the players. But honestly, it shows that you can build a championship team by tanking. You need a winning culture. A competitive edge that you need to have to move forwards.

All Kevin Lowe and his cronies need to do is look a couple hours south of them to see how a team should really rebuild.

You have to wonder what will happen if Oilers end up getting McDavid.
