looks like Sucker Punch meets Sin City (Snyder's love for contrast & saturation)

Wow they really took the "gritty comic reboot" theme and took it as far as possible... Almost to the point of satire

Mixed feelings on the trailer. Feels a bit like a mashup of watchmen/sincity.

I'm feeling it. Dark, gritty, etc. I'm liking Ben's voice better than Christian Bale. As much as I love Chris Nolan's trilogy I couldn't take the voice CB chose to use as Batman. It just sounded too forced.

So Superman is the threat? Batman is the hero for the people? Interesting.

Better trailer for sure. I'm really stoked for this. Don't know the story line at all which makes it's intriguing for me. Batman looks dark yet he's the hero? Superman is abusing his powers? Henry Cavill looks so nice though :badpokerface:

from the comic, it's a weathered batman that's compensating his aged & worn body with brute muscular force, and to go up against superman he builds an iron man suit

but this one seems a bit different since superman has his own soldiers (from the trailer) so it seems to be taking a bit of from the alternate universe comics where Superman has let his god-like powers get to his head and he's controlling the world like a dictator and, also, an older Batman goes up against him

yep, in the comic superman doesn't actually want to hurt him (dark knight returns) and batman uses kryptonite

and i cant recall what happens in the alternate universe story i think supes does squash bats

Most likely, Superman is allied with a corrupt government (superman probably doesn't know) and Batman is there to check him. The narration sounds like it's a bunch of pundits on the news discussing why Superman shouldn't have been given so much power.

How do you guys like the new Joker? It's getting a lot of flak, I don't think it's that bad, maybe remove the forehead tattoo.

Can already tell from the photo they're going for the loud manic type Joker personality. Might be grating and annoying.

1) this Joker with Leto isn't in Batman v Superman, he's in The Suicide Squad movie

2) Joker is locked up in a Prison cell for that movie (an Argus prison i guess) so I imagine those tats are supposed to be under all his makeup

3) It's Jared Leto, so I'm not concerned about how he'll perform The Joker, I'm sure it will be fantastic. the only concern is how the director/writers narrow Leto's scope
