Mad Max: Fury Road |
Actually looks pretty good, will watch. |
Mad Max has been on TV a few times over the last few weeks. I was thinking it'd be cool to have a remake. |
this looks good and from the looks of things like the original |
FUCK YES. This looks so good. It out Michael Bay's Michael Bay. The cinematography looks good too. The "big" shots remind me of Christoper Nolan's wide IMAX shots in Batman. BUT WITH MOAR EXPLOSIONS |
They need a crossover with Back to the Future Where Marty "Max" McFly gets stuck far in the future due to an accident and the Delorean is out of juice so he has no way back to 1985 and Doc Brown can't find him and Marty goes Mad ;) That needs to be a game or a movie asap :D |
looks cool man |
another trailer surfaces.... i hope you like classical music: |
jesus fuck that looks awesome! I had no idea they were planning a remake. |
they had been planning it for a loong time... so long that mel gibson went crazy and got old and couldn't be part of it anymore :lol |
shame they wouldn't even let Mel do a cameo in the film; the director sounds like he would have liked to but i guess Warner Bros was like nuh uh! |

more! |
the make or break of this movie is going to be the live action vs cgi. if its too cgi it wont be good. mad max was awesome because it was real action |
I think this movie looks fucking crazy. the detail and the way it's shot. some psychedelic adventure that takes place in a post apocalyptic desert earth lol. |
So stoked for this! So far it seems like they've done a good job of keeping to what made the originals so good. |
yea it looks pretty fucking bad ass lol |
double post |
|
Seeing this tomorrow night (it's playing at some theatres) can't wait! It's got a 99% rating so far on Rotten Tomatos from 81 critic reviews (80 fresh 1 rotten) Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - Rotten Tomatoes |
^^please post your review tomorrow :) It looks so good. Loving all the hype around it too. Charlize Theron mentioned the use of real stunts to avoid CGI on Jimmy last night. I love how weight is being put on real stunts as the over use of CGI has ruined come movies lately. |

the less CGI the better! even with the major budgeted films CGI still seems weaker to actual stunts/effects imo seeing it @ the VIP in coquitlam, dont think i've ever seen a movie in their VIP rooms, is the screen smallish? I was hoping they were AVX sized :( the rest of the world is getting mad max in IMAX 3D, but in North America that's still reserved for Avengers :okay: |
pure awesome, missed the first 5 minutes? got in there 1 min before it splashed "MAD MAX" on screen as Tom Hardy was doing a voice over not much dialogue/story, yet what's there is wonderful and works, this has to be seen on a big screen, the visuals are just fantastic and the sound! Wow an Atmos theatre would probably be killer (dont think the vip had atoms) Max takes a backseat really, through the movie, it was more Charlize Thereon, but that's not a knock to the film, it was fantastic! Marvel & Stallone should take note on how to make a real action film 10/10 don't think it would be a movie that I would watch again and again though |
