RMCP was trying to say that because there is no way to tell if the said liscense obtain is through legal means or not so therefore they were giving ppl fines. However ICBC don't agree. Simply is too much money for them to lose if these ppl can't drive.

Nope always travel by public transit. Also when I am out at night I rather take a taxi than get lost in the middle of nowhere.

I also feel much safer not driving in place where I am not 100% how their traffic laws works and also what does each sign mean. Better not to put other ppl life in danger.

Rent a car. When you travel to a foreign country you are allowed to rent a drive a car without as license from that country.

Rent a car for temporary use =/= buying, insuring and registering a car under your name.

I know people who did this back when they were 16/17, 1 was allowed to drive to-and-from work (which he used to drive all the time) but they were dumb teens then which still wasn't acceptable but it was somewhat understandable that they're immature/dumb.

To do it at 25+ ?? -_- pathetic

Well there's the issue.

It's ICBC.

You know one rule I've never been able to figure out?

Why you're allowed to insure a motorcycle even if you don't have a motorcycle license... It's not like ICBC can't see what your license classification is internally... Bizarre...

It's money. They'll take all of it even if you don't qualify for a license.

You can also insure a car without a drivers license.
