Lordco customer service sucks!!

This has been something that I needed get of my chest for a while now. I went to Lordco Richmond to pick up a part that I needed for my car and my usual go-to guy wasn't in, so I had to deal with someone else. What a mistake, the guy was a complete a**hole. It was as though I was an inconvenience to him, I must have interrupted whatever he was doing on his cell phone. I didn't get a " can I help you? ", instead I received a blunt " What do you want? ". I told him what I wanted and he looked on the computer or so it seemed. He proceeded to tell my that there was no listing for my car, and asked if I was sure if I had the right year. FFS.. I know what I drive, his attitude was as though my having a vagina was a handicap and I had no clue what I was needing, I've been twisting wrenches since I was 14! I told him that I had just bought one a week earlier, and he just looks at me, walks away and under his breath he says "for fuck sake " . He was lucky he walked away, I was so close to losing it on him. Anyways... for those who want to avoid the frustration of dealing with this guy, specifically women forum members, his name is Miguel.

Why didn't you ask for a manager or ask what his problem is? Or if it bothered you enough, leave and spend your money elsewhere?

I don't even bother going into a parts store for vehicle specific items unless I call first and know the part is in stock.

E-SPEC 11-28-2014 10:53 AM

You should have stayed in the kitchen where you belong. Thanks for posting though. :)

GLOW 11-28-2014 11:08 AM

glad you got it off your chest.

Miguel is my go to guy, awesome guy actually... maybe he was just having a really off day but seems kind of out of character. super knowledgeable, easy to deal with and most the time already knows what im talking about. as a matter of fact, richmond lordco is REALLY good, you can talk to pretty much any counter guy and they'll help you out.
Burnaby metrotown one is solid as well, ive been to a couple i wont name though where the counter guys have been a little more than frustrating to deal with

Comes in here and OP's first post is some personal grievance. When the fuck did this become the dumping ground for peoples personal garbage?

320icar 11-28-2014 11:28 AM

^^ not true. I've been dealing with Richmond lordco for 10 years. A few of them are good, a bunch of them have 0% training in customer care. The paint guy is amazing though.

It's usually a 65% chance I'll have a friendly encounter. I only go there due to a good discount with the account I have

That was the pure reason I gave her my response. Why you make an RS account just to complain about something? Is it just me?

multicartual 11-28-2014 11:47 AM

1st post to complain about someone...

Could be real story about a bad experience or just someone trying to ruin someone's rep online!

123654123 11-28-2014 11:48 AM

sign ups to get it out of her chest

she should have posted in "Speak It Out" thread lolololol

Godzira 11-28-2014 11:49 AM

and op's gone.

Tone Loc 11-28-2014 11:52 AM

Never had a bad experience with anyone from Lordco... the manager at the Coquitlam one (by Tim's) is the best, super friendly, good deals and real helpful. That being said the cutest one is probably that LG with glasses who works at the East 2nd one at the cashier. Plenty of times I have asked for "help" regarding stuff I already know ;)

I'm not gone.. I have better things to do than reply to the responses to my post.

E-Spec.. yes this is my first post, and as I said I needed to get this off my chest. FYI I've been lurking revscene for years, never felt the need to sign up until I had something important to say. It's the attitudes of quite a number of revscene members that put me off from signing up. I've been to some of the Ironwood meets also, just can't stand the "my car is better than yours" attitudes of some people.

Inaii 11-28-2014 12:13 PM

Miguel is a friend of my brother's, so I've known him for almost 10 years. I'm willing to bet OP is over-exaggerating and went in with a "I'm better than you, I know more than you" attitude.

As far as which Lordco is the best, no one tops the North Road location imo.

That is definitely a Piece of shit attitude, and also definitely not an attitude of mine. Hopefully you feel a weight lifted off you after postin that then..lol

Cheers! Are you posting from your kitchen now?

Godzira 11-28-2014 12:27 PM

maybe it wasn't the employees fault and your attitude that caused this whole discrepancy in the first place.. might want to consider being nicer and maybe people will be more willing to help you out :hotbaby:

I think a more fitting title to this thread is "Lordco customers attitude sucks!!"

Godzira... My attitude is just fine, it's the male attitude that has a problem... afraid of the vagina?
