Calling vs Texting
 

So you get a girl's number, what would you do? You call or text?

I personally call just because I'm not a big fan of texting...but that might just me, what would you guys do?

I think it depends if you're mute or blind.

Calling and texting is so mainstream. I use carrier pigeons, telegraphs and hand written letters, in calligraphy.

text a pic of your junk. i think that's what the kids are doing these days.

Call 2 or 3 times, til they answer. If no answer, feel free to text at least a dozen times until you get a response. If they still don't get back to you, it's open season to find them and ask what the problem is - maybe they're phone is broken.

Mostly text. Because if they are busy they can read the text later. Calling is great but when you are busy you don't really want ppl to call you.

On a serious note though.. Text or call depending on what the context is,
if its just a "hey what's up" DON'T call. That just annoys me more than anything (maybe it's just me) but something like that you can just text a girl. If its making plans for dinner or something along those lines, call.

Texts = a record if you ever do or say anything fucked up. That's why when I want to contact an ex while drunk to confess my undying love for her, I prefer phoning


Not to mention it gives me an opportunity to show her my perfect spoken English -- honed to perfection after many years of ESL classes

I text.

I only call when I need to. But that's because I hate talking on the phone. I can only talk for a few minutes before I get bored, start staring at the wall, pictures, tv in the background, and before I know it turns out with me not listening to a single word they said.

+ I find that texting can be more playful if done right.
