sooooo what alarm clocks do u guys use? how do you set yours? and what features do they have?
the iphone sucks for alarm.
i'm trying to find something that has:
-multiple alarm times
-custom snooze for each time (up to 45-60minute per snooze, yes that long)
-custom sound import mp3
-rising sound levels so it starts reallyreally low and slowly over many repeats, gets louder (over many cycles of the mp3).
i remember my old blackberry has something like that... but not custom snooze.
are there any actual alarm clocks or... programs or.. anything that sounds like that?
I guess people that wake up right on queue need not reply LOL.
Sleep cycle = wakes you up when you're in your lightest sleep. Works really well IMO but kills battery so your phone has to be plugged in
Droid alarm = makes me answer some mathematical question or similar before it'll snooze -- really good alarm but not as good as sleep cycle IMO
I like sleep cycle because I wake up refreshed + I'm less likely to hit the snooze. Sometimes I'm so lazy that I will actually solve the puzzle / answer the math question 10-15 times and just keep snoozing
My friend made an alarm clock app, where if you hit snooze it automatically sends a text message along the lines of "i'm lazy and hit the snooze button", to a random person in your contacts lol.
Unfortunately it's only available in Korea I think.
There was also a concept where everytime you hit snooze it makes a donation on your behalf to some charity haha

have you tried using some of the 3rd party iphone apps? theres a few that let you use a song or any other sound file you have to use as a tone.

I usually set 3 alarm 10mins apart. Usually I am awake on the first alarm. To be honest I usually wake up when it is time for work so I guess I have good internal clock?
Alarms are for noobs. Just get up when you need to. The only time I need an alarm is New Years day to witness my father's polar bear swim @ English Bay.
Using a note 3 standard alarm; found ring tone through zedge app. Personally love the chrono trigger's "fragments of a dream" as my alarm. The soothing melody both relaxes and invigorates me even for those really early mornings
Every morning I wake up to the sweet sweet smell...

I went up to a cute chick and asked her if she'd let me take a photo of her for $30 she slapped me, she said to me that "I AIN'T A WHORE!"
But other than that I have seen every car on display in DTP just by cruising about in Richmond, thank you very much for collecting them together and get someone to sing a cover for "fuck you".
OH FUCK YOU OH OH OOOOH~

Trusty ol' Sony Dream Machine I've had since 1994.
You just tripped me out posting this... I have had this clock for over 20 years and the funny part is I didn't know it was called the Dream Machine until now and I have looked at it over a million times I'm sure..
