Hold on a sec. Isn't this on the 9 speed gearbox developed by ZF? Can't really blame Honda/Acura for this one.... its not on the 4cyl models

Yah, it's a ZF box and a troubled one at that. Chrysler had heaps of problems getting it to perform properly in the new Cherokee.

So far it's nothing like the rock solid 8 speed ZF box that go in rear drive cars.

even for manual transmission, Honda had problems with gear grinding...
