Not a pic but we went for a drive yesterday and this damn thing nearly took out the Cayman in front of me and my 911.

Honest question, what makes you give up the S4 for a S3? Isn't it smaller and slower?

Looks like a really nice drive. Whereabouts?

Still wiping the poo off my seats.

You can sort of see it but deer pops out, Cayman ducks left, and Bambi just grazes the passenger side with fur, then stumbles. I brake hard, car veers right, and just manage to change direction to swerve right of the thing.

We've had the car for about 5 or 6 years and decided its time to replace it with something newer and more fuel efficient. My mom wanted something fast that ate less gas than our V8 S4 so the best option that had a compromise between performance and fuel economy was the S3. Looking at the performance specs it seems like the S3 is actually quite a bit faster than my S4 and the size difference didn't matter too much because its only smaller in length by about 5 inches.

Ahhhh okay for some reason I thought you had the B8! My friend has one of those that's chipped and it's just a mental car although I found the backseats to be pretty tight... and the S3 looks tiny by comparison on the outside so I'm curious what the rears are like on that

It is. Going to clean it up and drive it. I usually have friends looking for 'winter cars' around late September so if one of them wants it, I may flip it on them (enough to get the purchase price plus a little more on top)

Tidy and compact is a good way to describe the car.

The inside is actually very roomy.

The A3/S3 has more head room for the passengers than the A4/S4 (tested it), and very similar leg room.

The trunk is small though.

Full review will be written in a few weeks after breaking in the car and doing more driving on longer runs (Sea-to-Sky, across the border, maybe East to Kelowna)

Limitless 06-05-2015 12:22 PM

After a year or so of drooling over this exhaust, finally bought it and slapped it on. Worth every penny, was getting a bit bored of the car but the sound changes everything :) feels like my car is more torquey too at certain RPMs compared to my old Invidia, but that might just be a placebo effect.. will figure that out when I get the car retuned later on in the summer
