took the gixxer up to hicks lake for a few days this week. wasnt expecting to ride her up there but a sudden thing came up with my brothers wife and she had to come up the next day, which meant we were down a vehicle. anyways. she was a trooper the whole time, and didn't pop a tire on ~10km of forest service road

That's a nice eg. I love the irony of naming a black car "fiona" when the meaning of the name is white or fair.

tofu1413 05-12-2015 04:06 PM

fair enough. :fuckyea:

2015 S3 Technik, Panther Black Crystal Effect (only for RS models, now available for the S3), 19'' wheels, LED headlights, Audi magnetic ride, red calipers

The S3 is more agile, by far, than the RS5, and saves (by my estimation) at least 40% to 50% on fuel consumption, and you get a bigger tank (less trips to the gas station).

The S3 is rated at 4.4secs for 0-60 (roadandtrack), so it is a little slower than the RS5's 3.9secs for 0-60 (Caranddriver).

Mods will follow for:
1- RS Grille
2- Stage 1 for more HP (from 292hp to 350+)
3- Rear spoiler (maybe)
4- Front lip

dared3vil0 05-12-2015 08:24 PM

But RS5. :okay:

westopher 05-12-2015 08:30 PM

I like the S3 much more! The RS5, while a great car, seems like such a lumbering giant (in the turns) compared to the nimble S3 even though I'm sure on paper its not.

dared3vil0 05-12-2015 08:45 PM

At the end of the day I just wish I could afford either. LOL.

I typically prefer the "Trueno" front end but the Levin sure does turn heads since it's so out of the norm.

Thank you.

Yes, it's like $500 per month (daily driving 23 days a month) for the RS5 on gas, and that is on the normal comfort mode, not the gas guzzling dynamic mode which would make it double to $1,000 per month.

meme405 05-12-2015 09:11 PM

Great pickup Marshall. I love the new S3.

On that note I drove a friends SQ5 awhile back, what a fantastic car... I'm sure the S3 is an even bigger hoot to drive.
