Looking for a FAST VPN? 12VPN offers 1000 Mbps

Internet privacy is becoming a major concern. Whether it's to deal with increasingly aggressive anti-piracy laws, or to keep data secure, more people think that running a VPN full time is a good idea.

Another useful feature of VPNs is the ability to change what region you're connecting from. This allows you to use region restricted services, like American Netflix, iBBC, or stream from the network sites like FOX, CBS, etc.

And of course if you're in a country with restricted internet access, a VPN is a must.

The problem with most VPNs is that they can be extremely slow. What's the point of having a nice fast internet connection when your download speeds through a VPN are like 1-5 Mbps?

12VPN is known for its speed, and that's why I decided to partner with them for RS. They offer plans that run up to 1000 Mbps, which is not too common. For people with more basic needs, an 8 Mbps plan is available. There are no download or upload limits.

All devices are supported - set it up in your router, on your phone, or your desktop OS. All VPN protocols are supported: FeatVPN, IPSec & IKEv2, OpenConnect, OpenVPN, PPTP & L2TP, SSTP,
StrongSWAN, Viscosity & VPNGUI and VPN.tv for Chrome

If you're looking for a VPN, support Revscene and sign up here today! Prices are as low as $8.25 per month for the 1000 Mbps connection (quarterly and semi-yearly payments are available), and $4.08 per month for the 8 Mbps connection (billed yearly)

100% money back guarantee for the first 14 days of service.

For full details, check out 12vpn

How does this compare to astrill?

I still have quite a while left on my astrill subscription but always looking

SkinnyPupp 01-03-2015 06:05 PM

How is your speed with them? That's the main concern for me

Anyway with a 2 week trial you can always find out for yourself

That's for Canadian VPN services where the law applies.

For peace of mind I suppose. Let's say there is a 6 month log, and for some reason canada decides to change the law again. Now the law changes and everyone is now open game in those who infringed in that 6 month log. Now mass fines can be uphold because of this change of law. That's all "what if" though.

I dont know much about VPNs, never used it... I have 3 desktops, 3 phones and 3 tablets in my house, if I setup it on my Telus router, all these devices would be connected to the VPN automatically or do I need to setup on each device?

asian_XL 01-03-2015 08:16 PM

I wonder how is the speed connecting to China

corollagtSr5 01-03-2015 08:24 PM

You can set it in your router so It's on all the time for all devices. Some people buy a separate router all together so they just have to switch connections if they want vpn, then switch back if they want full broadband speed for gaming. I'm sure the new fancy routers can do both.

I can max out my connection at 2.5MB/s downloading stuff but I have to keep switching servers and only the servers in Asia (where I'm at) can get that kind of speeds....

Is this company Canadian?

"Illegal Activities:

Customers caught using our system for illegal activities, including but not limited to breaking into remote systems, credit card fraud, theft, vandalism, threats, or violence, will have their accounts immediately cancelled without refund of any fees."

So you can't be torrenting?

Also, I can't find information about if they keep their log files. If they keep their logs files, then this VPN is essentially useless.

You should look for a VPN that keeps no log files or records, so even if they get subpoenaed they have no log files to give to the authorities.

Can someone find out what this company does with their log files?

privateinternetaccess allows torrenting

perhaps skinny should setup a link for that too.

tested my friends, got 15down/10up on toronto and seattle servers (15/10 is his max speed).

torrents work just as fast although some people report it was slower.

corollagtSr5 01-04-2015 01:43 PM

I use the same one. Private internet access.

It's your antivirus that is failing, not the site :lawl:
