I put myself in people's blindspot so they have to turn their heads. If not, i honk at them so the forcibly turn their heads after

Ikkaku 02-09-2015 02:58 PM

Lets be honest here, most of the people on here would be more likely to be blasting Corb Lund - Student Visas

asian_XL 02-09-2015 04:21 PM

if I park my SLK and kids walk by it, they will point and say "convertible" or "dad, this car looks fast"

My car is a pedophile.

!LittleDragon 02-09-2015 04:36 PM

My Sontata turbo, no... I like it like that, goes by unnoticed.

MR2 Turbo, yes... Most of today's generation have no clue what it is and it's nostalgic for the older crowd. A few FRS owners asked if it was a new model and why they didn't see it in the showroom when they bought their car.

tofu1413 02-09-2015 04:43 PM

Unfortunately yes.

Got pulled over because of my big honking factory wing. "officer, its stock. and adjustable!!"

and the fact that any normal lancer driver / ricer or even some evo owners trying to drive faster / aggressively around me. yep.

unnecessary attention :okay:

Mr.C 02-09-2015 05:34 PM

Only because of the exhaust. It's not exactly a chick magnet.

Great68 02-09-2015 06:14 PM

It's impossible to take my car out without turning a few heads, getting a few thumbs ups or getting a "NICE CAR" shouted at me.

Classic Car FTW

Back when I rented a limo with some friends for highschool grad I found a burned CD in it from a wedding so I took it with me. Turned out to be a shitload of rather catchy East Indian music so I tossed it in my car. The looks I got being a white dude blasting Indian music from my 92 Celica were priceless, especially from my Indian coworkers.

turbo woosh...(peoples head slowly turns)

turbo woosh + PING! from my bpv valve (people sprain their necks)

My Miata sometimes turns heads, I got tons of attention when I had a tongue hanging off it, people would stop and take pictures, laugh, stick their tongues out at it, lol. That was in the summer though, now less people notice me. One time a cute chick in DT wanted to hitch a ride with me, but I was already going too fast lol.

denham 02-11-2015 05:51 PM

My Miata mostly turned heads of little kids who loved it, and their fathers who were going through mid-life crisis and wanted a car like mine. I had one guy offer me his family in exchange for the Miata and I have the feeling he was only slightly kidding, haha.

I got this a lot too! Especially when I was out and it started raining and I was nearly home and too lazy to stop to put the roof up.

It also turned the heads of guys who were shouting "GAY!!" at me as they went by.

My Honda Fit turns no heads, except maybe turning them away.

BBMme 02-11-2015 05:57 PM

No but my license plate turn more heads =p

asahai69 02-11-2015 06:15 PM

i drive a mercedes in richmond. so almost never. stare downs do happen when they see im brown though.....

white rocket 02-12-2015 12:02 PM

Does the Type R turns heads? I suppose. It was more noticeable back in the day(2003-2009). Being a white dude people gave me the "Why aren't you driving a Mustang look?" Nowadays I'm not sure anyone cares. Personally, I really don't like the attention but my car barely sees any road time anymore anyway.

jaemc 02-12-2015 12:09 PM

Sorta stock. Only a few nods and thumbs ups once in awhile.

Godzira 02-12-2015 12:17 PM

I love breaking necks, getting asked questions at lights, gas stations, etc.

.... typing this out makes me realize I might be an attention whore.

sonick 02-12-2015 12:24 PM

Miata - yes only to other fellow Miata owners, 6 year old boys, and the occasional girl (okay that just happened twice).

E30 BMW - Yes to many BMW drivers but also general car guys as well. Even got one from a sport biker one time as well.

Protege5 - :fuckthatshit: I miss the high-beam flashes (or headlight popup in the case of Miatas), peace signs and waves :okay:

jinxcrusader 02-15-2015 06:30 PM

Abarth.. mostly stock. Turns heads because of the loud ass stock exhaust.
I love it :)

em1.ac 02-15-2015 08:24 PM

Nope, unless people like JDM right hand drives. I usually just get asked, "Why is your steering wheel on the right hand side? That's a weird car.."

fsy82 02-15-2015 08:46 PM

this thread is useless without pics..lol

brrrz 02-15-2015 09:05 PM
