Thing is we shopped the V6 RAV4 in 2010.... Quote was for 38k on Limited V6 AWD w/ JBL and Leather. The Sport trim rode like shit on its 18s. My surprise was moreso over the sleeper factor though. Given how aggressively bland Toyota normally is. "More than you need" level of performance from a euro is kind of par for the course imo. You'd never be surprised by a randomly fast Merc, as they typically AMG everything they offer anyway. But in any case I'm a big fan of the GLK. Wish they kept going down that road, instead of pivoting to the GLC blob. |

It's what the market wants! F-Sport buyers don't want performance, they just want to feel like there's performance. They just want flashy bits and to be a little roughed up. These aren't the same as -F buyers. If this wasn't true then Lexus wouldn't make money doing this, and if didn't make money they wouldn't do it :D |
I agree. There's a market segment that Lexus is catering to where buyers get the perception they are buying a sports car while buying a luxury car. It's also to cater to those who don't have the balls to pony up for a European marque (I'm looking at Porsche) and can't stomach the maintenance and IMS problems. BRB, while I go cry in the closet. |

Do they offer F Sport design in Canada? Like just the appearance bits. F sport ES/RX/NX are just 10-20% sharper. Good for California mans where every road is kinda curvy and undulating. |

Friendship with odyssey is over. In a Pacifica hybrid and it’s fucking amazing. Better damping and body control than regular Pacifica and odyssey. Regen brakes make trail brake easy. Way quieter than Sienna hybrid, far more urgent propulsion. No ZF9 speed lag from has Pacifica. Got 9L when I usually get 20 driving gas van in NYC. Sienna here 8. That said… 75k kms and it sounds like it’s gonna die at part throttle. I suspect a bearing issue inside the Toyota style planetary CVT |
