Anyone having delivery issues with Canada Post lately?

So ordered an item from China end of last month and this the cluster fuck Canada Post is showing when I track my item;

CP has been no help whatsoever and hasn't been able to tell me what the issue is. I google'd around and it seems like others have had this issue but nothing lately. Has anyone experienced something similar lately?

Still waiting for an item that I bought off eBay from China. Ordered it the beginning of March.. It was only worth a couple of bucks, but it would be nice if it showed up any day now.. if ever.

What did you order?

The tracking is definitely wrong. 6 days for a package from China to Vancouver is incredibly fast and rarely ever happens even with priority / express IMO.

Whenever I've had to order from China its taken 1 month. Worst case scenario: Wait till April 27th to get your order and if not ask seller you never got the item and ask for a refund

Not necessarily, my spoiler only took 1 day to process, 1 day to arrive in Canada, and 2 more days to clear customs, before being released for delivery.

I've had issues with CP lately as well.

Order came in from Singapore to Richmond then it went to Calgary then back to Richmond. Then I somehow lost tracking of it.

Not sure what's going on.

If there's liquid or batteries in it, they are really cracking down. Cologne and cell phones have a very good chance of being returned to the shipper

I ordered a Fitbit shipped to my friend's Richmond address. The tracking showed "Delivered" and in fact it was never delivered, reviewed the camera showed nothing.

My friend called up CP and their fucked up "too bad, so sad" attitude makes you angry. They won't even allow my friend to file a claim, saying "sorry, the ownership has not been transferred to you, you should ask the sender to deal with it" what an ass.

Then I ordered the second time, my friend called CP if he can pick up at the nearby post office, they said no! WTF

I avoid CP at all costs.

I sent two slicks mounted on rims via USPS standard post from Sumas, Wa to Pheonix, Az.
Cost me $70us to ship. CP wanted $201cdn.

Took 4 days to get the slicks to AZ. I sent my dad a birthday card via CP 6 business days ago and he still hasn't received it... He lives in Calgary

Ordered a computer from Future Shop a few years ago. Tracked it to downtown Vancouver depot just a few blocks from me and then it sat there for a few days. Then it went to the Richmond depot all of a sudden and then said delivered.

They said the package was probably dropped off at the back door or hidden under the door mat (like no one would see there was a package under there lol). But I had it sent to my work, an office tower with a receptionist. Figured they made a mistake and took it to the Richmond depot and then the mail man just thought fuk it and left it at random address or kept it for him/herself. No one looked any further into it and Future Shop just mailed me another

lol i was tracking a parcel and when it said it was out for delivery, I left a note in my mailbox. It was my day off so i figured they can just knock instead of me having to pick up the parcel later on because it wouldn't fit in the mailbox.

We live in a small townhouse complex with those small, shared boxes. I taped a small note on top of the keyhole to our box saying, for parcel delivery please knock on unit XX.
Pretty clear right? Not to mention that our unit is probably 20 paces from the mailbox.
2pm comes and i wonder why no one's knocked yet. I was home watching tv/playing games and I could clearly hear what's going on out front. I get up to check mailbox, lo and behold, the dipshit took off my note, taped it to the side, opened the mailbox and stuck missed delivery note in there.

Still better than UPS though. Those fucking asshats never "attempt".

The alternative is to ship via surface mail. It'll go through, but it can take over a month or two to arrive. That's what we have to do when someone orders hair spray or mousse.

Canada Post has always been pretty bad with China mail, especially if it comes in those small packets. I ordered a G1WH dashcam a couple of months ago and it took a little over a month to get it. From what I've heard however, CP just moved to a new processing plant (by YVR) and they're still having a ton of issues with moving international mail...

Canada Post just sucks in general. Another failing crown corporation that lacks competency. If I have a choice, I would never use them.

Most of the time when CP says my parcel will be delivered by this date, it often gets delayed. Never had I experienced an early delivery from CP.

On the other hand, USPS, Fedex, and UPS is always on-time, or even gets delivered before your expected delivery date. That's service!

Order a power bank on Ebay. have arrive mid march. never got anything even though tracking clearly shows it arrive in Canada.
Try to file a charge back but the seller won't budge till I threaten to file a charge back with paypal and with my CC company.

CP customer support should be called "automated support" because their responses are basically cut and paste and no one bothers to look at what the actual issue might be. So annoyed but not much I can do but wait.

Could it be held up by CBSA? I know the tracking status is supposed to indicate if it cleared customs though.

My previous postie who delivered in my area had a gambling problem from I could figure out. We used to not get the Casino $5 free play direct mailers when my friends did. I figured at first they were doing targeted advertising based on the postal code. It wasn't till I got a mailer missing a page that I realized what was going on.

My friend at CP told me, it wasn't an isolated case. We now have a different postie on our route now.

My wife orders books from Japan on a monthly basis. These are delivered via Canada Post. One package was delayed by 3 months. When we finally received the package, it had this note.

Seems like Canada Post sent the package back to Japan, but the Japanese being Japanese refused to accept it because Canada Post didn't follow protocol.
