Stock and Noobie 4x4 Meet
 

Well folks.

Time to give this a whirl.

This will be the first stock and noobie unofficial/official 4x4 meet.

This is mostly FSR cruising with some obstacles and side trails so built rigs and experienced off roaders will probably be bored.

Location: Squamish (Ashlu/Elaho/Squamish Valley).

Date: May 24, 2015.

Time: 10am - ?

Meet up area: Canadian Tire in Squamish (1851 Mamquam Road Antigonish Mall Squamish, BC V8B 0H5)

The point: To get out there. This is mostly a run for folks who are new to the world of 4x4ing to get out there and check things out.

Highlights: I'll be bringing various recovery gear (straps/shackles/hi-lift) for people to check out and try out if they want. Also let people try hitting some obstacles (e.g. washouts) to learn the capabilities/limits of their vehicles and some of the things to keep an eye out for. Bring lunch, i'll be bringing a bbq but its small so limited cooking space.

Its mostly just fsr pounding with a few side trails so as long as your sons good with long car rides should be a blast.

Oh man. Totally remember that mazda now. That guy was pretty ballsy with it in the water crossings lol.

I have a 5 month old now. trying to convince the wife to come out again with the CX.

I just use briquettes on rocks - cooks well enough and no hot BBQ to pack out.

That was an nice easy stroll, RS. I loaded up my boys and some cooking gear, and then we headed on up to the Elaho Valley - it was a good time.
