Congrats to the world junior champions, Finland.

The Finns beat the Russians in overtime.

It would be kind of neat to see the Canucks draft Alex Nylander. He could carry the torch and learn from the Sedin's as the next great Swedish Canuck.

Nabatron 01-05-2016 03:41 PM

as for matthews whos an american and the few fins puljarvi and laine...what Canadian would be in the top 5 i guess chychryn hard to believe he didnt make the Canadian junior team and hes projected top 5

Nabatron 01-05-2016 03:42 PM

I wouldnt mind Jessi Puljarvi guy had 12 assist in the tourney plus is a big body and can skate!

Mike Oxbig 01-05-2016 05:40 PM

1 decade too late for puljarvi with the sedins

WD would make him a healthy scratch or play him 5 minutes a game with scrubs, anyways.

slicrick 01-05-2016 05:47 PM

CHI vs PIT 3 on 3 OT was probably the best hockey I have watched all season, that was an awesome game.

Tim Budong 01-05-2016 09:12 PM

can't see that chychuyrn kid to crack top 5
i can see him falling

Crosby to the Canucks for our first round pick, Brock and Vrbata :troll:

6o4__boi 01-06-2016 10:15 AM

i guess they had to make people give a shit about the ASG somehow cus the 3on3 and John Scott wasn't doing it

bossha 01-06-2016 10:26 AM

Benning called up Tampa about Drouin.

Also called up cbj about Ryan johansen

Good, he hasn't been great this year and definitely not better than Backstrom. You can argue Giroux shouldn't be there but they take a player from every team and he is the lone Flyers rep, so it seems it was essentially them picking Backstrom over Crosby.

But Benning said we just don't have enough young talent to offer them to make a trade work.

6o4__boi 01-06-2016 10:32 AM

everyone called up Tampa and CBJ for Drouin and Johansen
the price is pretty steep...it'd take a blockbuster for it to happen with the teams trading for them likely getting fleeced

Nabatron 01-06-2016 10:59 AM

RJO will most likely get traded to Nashville...i guess we can try and go after rychel instead better then nothing haha

Jmac 01-06-2016 12:08 PM

Luongo and Schneider both going to the ASG.

CRS 01-06-2016 12:49 PM

Lecavalier and Luke Schenn going to LA.

The Kings are even more dangerous now. The Pacific Division just got even more competitive.

-time for the Canucks tank to begin? :troll:

That is a lot of cap space tied up on 2 past their prime players, what is LA thinking.

*****edit**** ah Philly retaining 50% of both contracts, that makes more sense.

highfive 01-06-2016 01:17 PM

Lecavalier intends to retire after this season but does his cap hit remains with philly? The luongo rule?

Nabatron 01-06-2016 01:26 PM

richards>>>>>higgins! fuck! Richards will play less games then higgins and proabably put more points up then him...fuck higgins is useless and I'm hoping hes the one sitting tonight! I mean 3 points in 20 plus games just terrible!
