Agree. Who's gives a fuck about Hodgson?? It's about Horvat, Bo Ho, not CoHo. We have a good group of young players in Bo Ho, McCann, and Virtanen with promising futures. That bridge was crossed a long time ago with Hodgson. I would rather focus on the young players on our team instead of some has been player who over estimates his abilities. :considered: |
Any idea who this new kid is that will be making his NHL debut tonight with the Nucks? Never mind. He played one game with the Nucks last year. |

Gillis signed him out of college a couple of years ago (Torts year), he played a couple of games with the Canucks at the end of the season, didn't look too bad. Played in Utica last year, Travis Green utilized him heavily as a checking line center en route to their Calder Cup Finals appearance. Benning chose not to qualify him or offer him a contract extension this offseason, but Zalewski, from Utica, chose to sign an AHL contract to play for the Comets. Travis Green really likes him, he skates decently, has decent size. Not much of a physical forward and limited offensive abilities, but a reliable checker at the AHL level at least. I guess Green convinced JB to give him another shot at the NHL level after a couple of years developing in the minors, thus the NHL contract earlier this week. |
fucking terrible trade for JB...prust thinks he is entitled to play because he's a vet! I mean if your going to bitch and complain atleast back it up when u play! |

i'd like to petition the mods to change "Nabatron" username to "Nabatron!" is Sutter back tonite? if not i'm assuming its McCann Horvat Vey Zalewski? Jesus... :heckno: |
I may have been living under a rock the past few days... a rock that is struggling with a herniated disc in my back.... but did Prust say something in the media? Or just his play in general? |
I'm not sure why all the hate on JB and TL. The last time I checked Zack Kassian was the alcoholic. And it's not like he became one all of a sudden when he got traded to Mtl. It's an ongoing issue and he couldn't resolve it so the team had to move on without him. They got something for Kass...it didn't work out. Lets move on and watch our young kids grow. |

Virtanen was supposed to play that night. After practice, Prust stormed off and didn't do any of the interviews that he was scheduled to do. Next day, Prust was in the lineup so people are guessing that Prust said something to WD which changed the coaches' mind about benching Prust. So far nothing has been said, but every news person is speculating, as usual. |
Don't think he said anything in the media just that his play sucks and he apparently made a huge fuss over being a healthy scratch against the rangers hence, he was plugged into the lineup instead of JV tl;dr: Prust is apparently being an entitled whiny little cunt |
Quote:
Can't remember exactly what he said but basically it was admitting Prust was a scratch and that WD changed his mind. |

It's also 1 game... Not like he's proven shit... He went on runs with us scoring goals in like 6-7 games straight and then went off the rails every single time. He's got a long ways to go before you can call his time in Edmonton a success. |
Baertschi from Zalewski already! Edit: TSN showed Zalewski with the assist now it's Horvat and Vrbata haha |

On other news, Canucks are up 1 - 0 with Sven's goal on the first Canuck shot of the game. CoHo who? BoHo another assist. |

Edit - Just saw your edit |
Remember when people were whining about giving up a 2nd for Bae? Now a very respectable 17 points in 39.3 games. |

Edit. Great play from Tanev to BoHoo. BoHo with the pass to Vrbata and and even better pass to Sven. What a cheeky goal by Sven. One hands it after getting his stick lifted. Last season, Sven would have given up and turned away. The new Sven stayed with it was able to poke it past Rask. |

In order, this picture is GP, G, A, PTS, +/- and PIMS. http://i.imgur.com/F1yhP5V.png Good PK'er and at the time had a lot more foot speed. Between his salary expectations and NYR being tight against the cap he was a casualty of the cap, maybe for the best. He sure has slowed down though, I can't see another team giving him a real chance to play at the NHL level again when he hits FA. |
Which is why you don't give term to guys heading into their 30s who play that style of game |
MONSTER! |
Hansen....:yuno: |
