OMFG YES!

Autorice 09-09-2015 07:07 PM

what the. I called 311 at around 4pm and they told me stage 3.

fliptuner 09-09-2015 07:45 PM

As much as I like keeping my cars clean, I can't help but to think this was a good opportunity to reflect on how much water we do waste. Hopefully, people stay conscious that there's not an endless supply of clean water.

I wonder what the reservoir levels will drop to, this time tomorrow, since the forecast is for sun through the weekend.

Great68 09-09-2015 07:55 PM

Hopefully GVRD will take a lesson from this and start planning to increase storage capacity. They're going to have to rely on snow-pacs less and less.

Victoria had the foresight a few years ago when they raised our dam, we didn't even break into Stage 2 this year.

Fcukedd 09-09-2015 07:58 PM

Ran outside to wash the car right when I heard stage 2 was now in effect.

All that dirt :sweetjesus:

trd2343 09-09-2015 08:17 PM

Weird, news outlet says stage 2, but city's website still says stage 3, maybe it hasn't it been updated yet?

The day after stage 2 returns our usage probable peaks, as everyone waters their lawns and washes their cars.

I'd like to see the chart on water usage for this 24-48 hour period.

We must have shot from like 1.2 bil to atleast 3 or 4 bil litres.

Had a look at these earlier in person. I personally wouldn't use these on any body panels given how rough they felt but for interior cleaning they'd be fine.

Gh0stRider 09-10-2015 06:49 PM

media say it may go down to stage 1 next week.

Urrtoast 09-11-2015 06:48 AM

Those are only good for interior, rims and engine compartment. and they are so cheap there disposable.
Quaitly Microfibers are $2.50-$8 dollars each.

I use those for my windows as well, and since my car is wrapped I can use them to wipe that down as well with very little worry.

I agree though, I wouldn't use them on paint, way too rough.
