Ten people are dead and 20 more wounded in a mass shooting at a community college in Roseburg, Oregon, several media outlets were reporting Thursday afternoon.
The Umpqua Community College campus is on lockdown and CNN reported that Oregon State Police spokesman Bill Fugate confirmed the number of people killed and injured.
It's unclear whether the shooter has yet been caught.
Obeezy is going to have to make another speech about gun violence. He'll be disappointed in having to do it again. Trump will blame it on mental health and not guns. Thursday Night Football kicks off with Americans holding their popcorn bowls and handguns tight to their chest.
Just repeat what I said in the last American shooting thread. America needs serious gun control, it will never happen. They are fucked and will only keep killing each other.
that senator, or what ever he was, from the states was right..lets build a big ass wall between canada and the states....those guys are fucked down there, lets keep our borders safe :P

Lol that was so dumb. The logical place to start building a wall would obviously be the mexican border.
If guns aren't the problem how come other countries in the world with less accessibility to guns have less gun violence? Don't tell me population increase gun violence, look at China. I know these are exactly great comparisons, but there are some takeaways here...

The takeaway is that America is a violent country with serious cultural issues.
Changing the gun laws won't change much because America's love affair with hot lead and things that go boom are embedded in the culture of the people rather than the laws. Americans have this crazy idea that they need a fully automatic AK-47 assault rifle to "protect the home", and that anyone who wants to place restrictions such as psych tests, ammo/firearm type restrictions, etc. on firearm ownership, are "libtards" and are guilty of spreading socialism.
Everyone would rather blame the parents of the shooter, the music the shooter listened to, blame the clothes he/she wore, blame Call of Duty/Grand Theft Auto, blame the movies he/she watched, than blame the two most obvious and highest-contributing factors:
Lack of mental health support, and easy access to high-powered firearms.
But nah, let's just blame hip hop music and black-colored clothing instead...

And cue the media which I equate to a pack of pigeons who will scavenge this story to death because that's what they do. They don't give no shits about the victims. They just want revenue and what better way than to oversaturate it with nonsensical talking heads and fear mongerers.
If Sandy Hook changed nothing, this will change nothing and that's the shittiest thing. How can such a developed country still be so backassward. Oh right, it'll still take generations for the current dinosaurs to die out.
Guns beyond hunting are pointless while the Clock Kid and Bruce Jender are not heroes. USA should consider waking up one day.
Gotta love Obama though when he says 'Thoughs & Prayers' are not enough (which is hilariously true) as well as demanding the media pull up a list of Americans killed on US soil by terrorist attacks and a list of those killed by Gun Violence.

It's not gun where the problem is. Psychopaths would find a way to kill with or without the control in place.
You have to understand why it is so hard for American to change their laws for gun control. Their constitution guarantees the possession of guns and arms in order to create a underlaying balance of gov't and its people; people gives power to the gov't to do what's right for its people. When the gov't can't do that, people would have the last resort to fight for their ideology.
And TBH, I applaud the Americans of having the guts to not give in to preserve their vision. Outdated? arguably. Simply wrong? far from it.
This isn't fucking 1893. Americans no longer need to arm themselves with guns to protect themselves from government tyranny. If the government wants to rule over their citizens with an iron fist, a gun won't do shit anyways. It has no fucking relevance whatsoever.
If people genuinely believe that some sort of reasonable control of someones ability to walk into a store and buy multiple concealable semi automatic guns and enough bullets to kill an entire classroom, won't prevent some of these instances, they should be sterilized so they don't instil such ignorance and stupidity into a future generation.
Fuck this shit. The fact that people can watch this over and over again and argue that "guns aren't the problem" makes me sick.
The reaction from people defending the current state of america gun control makes me want to throw up in their mouths to prevent them from spewing anymore of their indoctrinated bullshit.

Even if they are psychopaths, I guarantee you knives would kill a lot less people...

sure thats true but what about a uhaul van filled with homemade explosives?
the real issue here is mental health. there is not anywhere near enough care for people with mental health issues and its just getting worse every year.
