Not uncommon to do reverse stagger to help reduce understeer for FWD-based cars. Audi RS3 also has reverse stagger.

The FK8 performs VERY well on track on a staggered set up. You end up reintroducing torque steer, but that'll happen anyway if you don't stay on the stock 20s. My friend runs 275/35/R18 front, 265/35/18 rear. I run 275/35/18 front, 255/35/18 rear.

The tramlining is pretty fucking awful on the 275s tho.

I got some more info. I asked someone at Honda Canada about the 2 cars that showed up at the docks so long ago. He said all the cars for Canada come through here, all were being held and are just getting release now.

Surrey is getting a red one. I know who #1 on their list is, I wonder what he plans to do with it.

Was this Surrey Honda?
Do you know how many are coming to BC up to 2023?

I think that's a Dynapack that reads higher numbers though. But ignoring the actual numbers, I like to focus on the decent gain over the FK8's baseline.

wonder if there's any chance it was due to soft limitation due to break-in miles
it's happened to old hondas reviews in the best motoring days
but it lapped similarly, so weird

I said this in their comments. I've always suspected the press cars were a cut above the rest. I worked at the local dealer that took care of them, we never did the PDIs tho, they just showed up with Ontario plates. We did all the servicing on the modded pacer cars at the time too. So ya, I wouldn't doubt that the blue FK8 in the video is a one off that is at least the best of the best that left the factory. Also wouldn't doubt that it may be tweaked, I bet VW would do stuff like this to press cars.

^ Savagegeese was bouncing so much on track. He did say Sonoma was a bumpy track and the car isn't setup for a track like that.

If it's gonna be $50-something USD there's a lot of other cars you should be considering than that... as much as I love the idea of it.

Not sure what the feature diff is between the Civic Si and the base Integra is but they are with a thousand bucks USD. I'd have to imagine that the Integra Type S can't be more than $3k more than a CTR putting it right around the S3's price point. It certainly is up there though.
