Relocating the engine for a mid engine setup

I want to plan for an extreme looking custom car (large rear 24" wheels, long wheelbase) and it will need to be a mid engine... my biggest obstacle is that it also needs to be really cheap!
Ive decided on the Toyota Previa as a donor as its already mid engine (making it simpler?)... but I will need to relocate the engine even further back to meet my custom designs profile.

The engine is setup on an angle... so Im wondering if its easily possible to move it to the rear using the same stock engine while keeping cost low... or might a "flat" engine be easier to adapt considering the ECU would need to be compatible with the rest of the components?

Keep the angle the same by moving the engine rearward and down? How are your fabrication skills? I can't even tell, is that thing AWD? Converting to RWD may be a bit easy in the fabrication department.

Look into 4x4 knowledgeable people. They know a lot more about extreme driveshaft angles then us people who just like to slam a car on the ground.

The regular ones are rear wheel drive and also have a shaft going forward to power the alternator and fan I think...

By simply moving everything back (about 20 inches) and keeping the same angle... I wonder if the transmission will protrude out underneath the car...

someone help me here. i remember an old best motoring video of someone having done this before with a jdm previa? it was being used as a drift missile. this would have been maybe 5-10 years ago, but it was a 2 seater with rear gutted out and caged.
