You shut your whore ass mouth.

On a totally unrelated note, going to inspect the NSX at the body shop on Monday, might have that bish on the road by the end of next week.

No flip agreement? dafuq?

Stook 05-07-2016 07:38 AM

congrats man! Your dealer is treating you very well! When I called them a couple weeks ago asking if any GT4 available, they laughed at me lol

westopher 05-07-2016 07:47 AM

Jasonturbo bring that shit to Vancouver and let me drive it.BibleThump

jasonturbo 05-07-2016 11:15 AM

I emailed PCNA this morning asking for a last minute revision to my configuration, hoping to change to the color to Carrara White. Quite a few stories on the forums of this being a successful tactic when the dealer tells you it's too late... Porsche is supposed to be that brand that does anything the customer wants, assuming you have enough money and are a repeated customer etc.

Entry to body shop is the 27th of May, so there remains a reasonable amount of time for this revision assuming they do all painting in-house.

If you recall PTS was never available, which is why I cancelled my initial deposit and secured allocation.

Sure enough 6 months later I see a handful of PTS cars... fuckers.

Backstory is that Porsche did eventually allow some PTS cars, your SA had to beg on your behalf and unless you had previously or currently own a GT2/GT3/918 you would likely be turned down.

PTS, if you could get it, was an $8000 USD option

westopher 05-07-2016 11:50 AM

It's too bad. The cars that would have been around if PTS was available for everyone would have been constant neck snappers. There are some great colours to begin with but so many amazing options could have been.

I will say that the GT4 really lacks the presence of the 911, while I'm excited to get one I still feel like there is a pretty good chance I'll end up with another 997 GT3.

Mr.Money 05-07-2016 03:38 PM

^^^Even lambo rocks that color too.

Porsche responded to my email today:

Quote:

Dear Mr. PEEPEELICKER,

First and foremost, congratulations on your new Cayman GT4!

While we wish we were able to make changes to your build, once the build has reached the freeze point, we can no longer allow for changes to be made.

I am truly sorry that we are unable to grant your request. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach back out to us.
Mehhh, Grey will do.

Don't remind me, I'm hoping someone else walks away from a White or Red car and I can snap that one up instead lol
