godddamn..... you know what, maybe not being able to change the color was a good thing... cuz that is sex... right there! |
love the colour |
150KM deep, car is :jerkit: The grey grew on me very quickly. Car was dropped off for 3M today, after only 150KM there are already a few very very small rock chips on the side intakes, people aren't kidding when they say the GT4 is prone to rock chips :s Really though the GT4 is worthy of the hype! |
too bad its still not a gt3rs :troll: |
Thought I'd leave this in here instead of starting a new thread lol Porsche Left a Note for Acura in the 911 GT3 Used as NSX Benchmark ? News ? Car and Driver | Car and Driver Blog |
Spoiler! sweet! super sweet! |

car looks great! congrats:fuckyea: |
why it looks like somebody bought it for the fine price 260k and Flipped it Now for $322,900 :heckno: 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS - Weissach |
So after about a month and a meager 500KM I will note the following; - GT4 is a magnet for rock chips, mainly the side intake ducts, you constantly hear rocks bouncing around in there. - Tires and brakes need some heat, until they are warm the car has very limited braking and grip, which sort of hurts the street driving experience, I've already had the back end come out more than expected a number of times. - Thank god I bought the sport seats and not the race buckets, even 30 minutes in the sport seats starts to irritate my back. - Stereo (With Nav package) is pretty awful, granted that's not why you buy one of these cars, but still, for 100K, common. - The A/C blows so cold there is a risk of hypothermia. - Gearing is loooooong, just as everyone else has said. Ultimately I end up in the familiar position of feeling like it's simply not fun having a "fast" car for public roads anymore, slow drivers, speed limits, traffic, just ruins the experience. Maybe it's gotten worse over the last 3 years or maybe I was just very ignorant to it before and drove like a retard - considering the fact I've only had one speeding ticket in last 9 years that's probably not the case. I'm still hunting for an E92 M3 in a number of specific colors, I feel like that car best straddles the line between race car capabilities and street driving comfort/fun... I suspect I will part with the GT4 at some point soon. I am also still searching for a 997.1 RS but that will really just be a C&C car, something that rarely sees the light of day. Since having back surgery I'm really enjoying just being active, I would much rather go for a bike ride than a drive in the car. #oldasfuck |
Fine. I'll trade you for the e36 straight up. I bang it off the rev limiter regularly without speeding haha. |
Maybe you shouldn't be a fucking pussy and track your car. I don't get why you buy performance cars but don't do performance driving . I'm sure you will enjoy then more. |

I will be in Edmonton this whole coming weekend and will gladly come race... I mean drive all your cars free of charge |
Good. Since you're a fellow RSer I'll straight trade you for my much slower 911. |

man, wish i had your problems jason. enjoy in good health, or whatever those old farts say on RL. in any case, if you're enjoying being active, i hope you got a cipollini or whatever mooty has as well :) |
Mooty is intense hey lol |
that guy is ridiculous man.. that SF money.. 4 sets of BBS for each car and a warehouse of.. who knows what. his monthly sale threads are always exciting lol |
His wife the breadwinner according to him, some sort of physician. Assuming he's not joking.. Must be nice. "Hun, can I buy a new mango yellow GT3 RS? The other 10 GT3 rs's in the garage aren't enough" |

I haven't try steel brake personally, PCCB do need a bit of heat to get it working but still more than adequate for the street just like you said. |
Jasonturbo I think I saw you in Edmonton while I was there for business this long weekend. By the sherwood park area? But wow Edmonton is such a gloomy place, no place for a porsche. Embrace your inner redneck and get a corvette or a lifted F350 with dualies. |

Edmonton sucks, just like most cities suck compared to Van or LA lol shame I wasn't born rich and beautiful :( Having said that, when I return from travel to the GTA, Edmonton doesn't seem so bad hahaha Though Edmonton is a terrible city to own a nice car, nowhere to enjoy it. |
Strong temptation to list the GT4 for sale.. there are no other cars for sale in the Province right now, would probably pocket 25K+ #capitalism |
