Any thoughts on The Brick's couches listed for $499/$599 tomorrow?

It's hard to get a decent couch for that price, unless it's been gently used. If you're stuck with a budget, your best bet would be to buy an Ektorp from Ikea. Ikea can ship to the island if you order online.

I wouldn't buy from the Brick as they're pretty shady and their stuff is no better than stuff you would buy on Amazon or Aliexpress.

My go-to furniture store is Urban Barn and there's one located in Victoria. They always have sales during Boxing Week.

Easily doable
Go before 10am sport Chek no tax
UA CGI Hacker jacket $169.99 + a list coupon + save the tax = $152.99
Scott Offgrid goggle $79.99 + a list coupon + save the tax = $71.99

That leaves u $75 for gloves
When all gloves are 25% off and u can stack a list coupon and no tax.

If you try a bit harder you can probably do the whole thing for under $250

is the standalone atmosphere store in kits doing the no tax event as well?? and do they accept team assist coupons/ sportchek gift cards?

jerche 12-26-2015 02:07 AM

anyone know of any good clothing sites?

Banana republic has additional 60% off all their sales items.

Hondaracer 12-26-2015 08:58 AM

Everything I was remotely interested in was sold out by the time I he check out :/

Both soundbars I was looking at were only slightly discounted though so may just wait and pay regular price :/

Is it worth going to today? Lol

GLOW 12-26-2015 12:13 PM

are there any ok sound bars for $100 or are they all junk? not an audio whore really just need something that can play good voice audio for movies and something that may enhance footsteps in video gaming and stream music. i read anything under $200 is basically equivalent to a TV speaker.

for the price it's good, it's very well reviewed as well.

I will probably end up buying this one if i dont get the sony or the other larger vizio during the week

koukimonst3r 12-26-2015 03:01 PM

Purchased an 8.1 samsung curved sound bar with subwoofer today for $698 + tax with 5 yr warranty at Visions, it's a pretty good deal imo. Regular price was $999, seems like it's the same sale they had for Black Friday.

Hondaracer 12-26-2015 04:00 PM

I can't bring myself to buy Samsung products. Just don't like them as a company or else I would have had a sound bar long ago lol

Curved one had great specs, tell us how it is

Euro7r 12-26-2015 04:14 PM

Bought 2 x Samsung 128GB microsd cards. That's it for me. Didn't see anything else I needed that is good deal.

xxxrsxxx 12-26-2015 05:16 PM

Did anyone go out? I was in downtown during the morning hours and it didn't seem too busy, but maybe it picked up as the day went by.

Araaadi 12-26-2015 05:36 PM

Ended up with starwars battlefront and the Visio sound bar from Costco.

Visions has/had a Polk soundbar (regular $200+) refurbished for $98 still came with a 1yr warranty iirc

looks like they've sold out though :/

for double that price you can get this Yamaha with built in woofers

Home Audio | Visions Electronics

:/

Shades 12-26-2015 05:59 PM

I went to Sport Check today and they had a "min 20% off" on almost everything but the actual discount price isn't on the tag. People lined up at the cashiers just to check the discount.

Yeah, we looked all over today and everything we liked was at least $1200.

Sears has an all-leather sofa for $800 (60% off) that wasn't bad, but the fiancé hates the colour, so no dice.

I just don't want to spend a lot because we have 2 cats and one of them tends to destroy furniture. I don't really want to drop $1k+ to have it wrecked. I can live with $500.

6o4__boi 12-26-2015 08:34 PM

I bought 36 AAA batteries for $10 from amazon :lawl:

Was honestly pretty tempted to buy the $390 1tb Xbox bundle
Is xb1 that bad that they're consistently having these crazy good deals?

Still holding out for a good ps4 bundle next year
All their bundles fucking suck
Battlefront sucks, nobody wants the uncharted bundle
I mean if you're gonna fucking rebundle old ass games at least make the goddamn thing 1TB
I wanna find the fuckface who thought it was a great idea to recycle ps3 games to ps4 and punch their mom in her fucking uterus with a dremel.
Lazy, unimaginative fucks.
