i'm flying home from the phillipines mid april (working there from india) and only need a one way back to vancouver....can i book one and just not use the outbound vancouver flight or if i don't check in will they void the rest of the ticket??

i booked a cheap flight and originally intended on missing a leg
as long as it's confirmed i don't think they can void...but dont quote me on that.

In most cases, you can only skip the last leg.
Missing any of the previous segments will void the remainder of your ticket.

ya that's what i figured....what are they gonna do if you miss the last one? cancel it lol

any tips on finding cheap one way flights? or maybe i should look for round trip out of the phillipines

the one way is $800 each from manila to vancouver, i paid less last year flying from BBK through manila to get home
