Chinese detergent commercial deemed racist. This Chinese detergent commercial is getting quite a bit of exposure on the Internet for its racist overtones. The funny thing about this commercial is when the black guys turns into a Chinese guy because of this "detergent", one body part should shrink too. That BBC disappears. :lawl: BBC becomes small Chinese dick. :lawl: The Chinese girl is pretty though. |
That is super racist. Inb4 gululu see's nothing wrong with it |
I'm quoting Yray; "Didn't work, still came out yellow" |
Might be a copy of this commercial. If the Chinese one is regarded as racist, this one would be too. |
Yes, they are both racist. Racist ads like these date back hundreds of years. https://i.imgur.com/jvpF6SH.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Rwsse68.jpg Some cultures are quite far behind others though in these regards |
what else is new in china, all pricks! |

black person is barefoot, poor posture, and looking dirty and shamed......... looks like the black girl could punch the lights out on that white girl. "You messin' with me, bitch?" |
its only racist if u think of it under the western context. |
Gululu, you gotta be kidding me. You used a racist product called Darkie toothpaste? :troll: Calling a black person Darkie, even a toothpaste brand name, is certainly racist. It doesn't matter what context, Western or Eastern or whatever. Calling a black person with such a degrading name for a toothpaste is disgusting! Racism in the 21st century may be in a different form compared to the 19th century or earlier periods of humanity's history but it still exists in every country. Even China. I scold my parents every time they call black people "black ghosts" in Cantonese. That's racist! |

U know why SJW dont work in asia? Because people are proud of it and dont care if your little feelings get hurt.:nyan::nyan::nyan: |
looks like the marketing co behind the commercial earned their money... probably met the #of viral shares in a matter of hours like Trump, any publicity is good publicity. |
anyone notice his shirt was super dirty before and afterwards it was bleached clean? |
That other commercial above where the white guy turned black, it had almost zero media coverage. Why is this new commercial getting so much attention? Its racist if you think its racist, what if it was a white guy turning black/asian/brown.. would you guys still think its as racist? |
I thought the commercial was quite progressive by China standards, allowing a black man into the house at all is a big deal there isn't it? :troll: |
I wouldn't wash my clothes with this, it would make all my blacks turn yellow |

Which is worse? The connotations associated with the Chinese add are worse, as they're indicating a people are worse than another. Both racist, one is more offensive |
The Asian guy that came out is ugly as fuck. #NOHOMO! Could have at least picked a better looking dude to make their point. |

young Africans are joining china's shrinking manual labour force. black men working as delivery assemblers for suning.com in guangzhou, so you can see the chinese society is very accommodating to blacks. or else they wouldn't even apply for such roles http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142445...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142440...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142445...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142440...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142440...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142440...980x1200_0.jpg http://img1.gtimg.com/14/1424/142445...980x1200_0.jpg |
