Not too front loaded. 10m/yr total for first 4 yrs, signing bonus is incl w/ cap hit.
Fair contract overall, but it's no steal IMO. He's basically getting paid the same actual dollars as Crosby starting next year for the following 4 years

San Jose's trying to get a cup before Thornton retires and Burns will give them several solid years. They'll pay the price over the last few years of the contract, but that's the cost of business.

Any of you remember when the Canucks announced its hockey stick in rink logo? I do. It was hilarious. People were like WTF? Then the skate, and my all time favourite, the flying "V".
All looked like ass at the time, but became favourites over the years.
Like any team, the logo will evolve.

but there is no public access or drop offs so you have to go through the Casino in order to get to the actual rink and MGM owns it.  | |
