70s 80s & 90s Songs Threads
 

Any old dudes and dudette's who want to reminisce songs of yester-years?

Anything by Heart. Barracuda, Magic Man, Dreamboat Annie, etc.


Heart paved the way for women in the music scene. They wrote the songs as well as played the instruments and sang like nobody's business.

They are originally from Seattle, but settled in Vancouver while recording for a local label known as Mushroom Records (on 2nd Avenue near Granville Island). I remember that studio well. Fokkers there pissed off the two sisters and the rest became history, for them more than Heart.

Life ended way too early for Karen. Vocal perfection.

Btw, Much Music has TBT's and there's a show on ABC, Thursday night, called Greatest Hits, you guys might enjoy.
