the thing i like about canada is the fresh air....some places are fcking awful for whats in the air with Smog.

Cost most to take a plane to TO lol. I love to travel around Canada but if you look at cost, is cheaper to travel and stay at other countries (China, Thailand, Vietnam, even South Korea, Japan in some case, Mexico, US...).
Not sure sure is so expensive to travel within Canada.

It's easy to understand travel is just like any other good/service - it's just supply and demand.
Generally Speaking,
Canada - big country, few people, high cost of living= expensive
USA - big country, many people, high cost of living = cheaper
China - big country, tons of people, lower cost of living = even cheaper
SE Asia - small countries, tons of people, lower cost of living = cheapest
Europe - as above. But general high quality of life, high CoL and high demand make it as expensive or more than the US and Canada.
