Shutout!

jdmhaze 12-05-2017 09:05 PM

Probably the best game I've seen Gaunce play. Protected the puck well in the corners, and then created some good scoring chances. Good speed winning races to pucks.

RiceIntegraRS 12-05-2017 09:13 PM

I'm happy for Markstrom but its sad that this is his first career shutout since joining the NHL in 2010

highfive 12-05-2017 10:57 PM

Pouliot looking better and better.

I wonder who's coming out when Gudbranson is back?

Probably Stecher, coach seems to have him at the bottom of the totem pole. Average ice time this year is below 15 mins a game. Willie was giving him 19 a game last year.

Nabatron 12-06-2017 08:50 AM

im hoping its hutton on for guddy! hutton was serving up some pizzas as usual lastnight! also we aren't missing sutter that's for sure

highfive 12-06-2017 10:54 AM

Hutton been shitty ever since signing that contract.

Damn, this year's world juniors is going to be fun for Canuck's fans.

Pettersson, Juolevi, Gadjovich, Lind, DiPietro..

bobbinka 12-06-2017 05:54 PM

Edler is 20 points away from being the franchise's leader in points for dmen. Hope he gets it this year!

6o4__boi 12-06-2017 08:30 PM

Edler too focused trying to be the best backup goalie dman to get points

Blah_Teggie 12-06-2017 09:31 PM

A bit off topic here but has anyone here looked into watching a game in Vegas? I was planning on going down there next week and saw the Golden Knights were hosting Pittsburgh. Went to look for tickets and the cheapest one I can find on seatgeek is $181 USD!!! I know it's the Stanley Cup champs but that's crazy expensive!

6thGear. 12-06-2017 10:03 PM

I'm going down to Vegas in January. Looking at catching VGK vs Oilers that weekend. I think someone on here mentioned to me stubhub is the best price?

Even if it is the best price, I didn't expect to pay any more than $50. You would think a new team in a non traditional hockey market would try to lure in fans by having cheap tickets. Esp a team without any star power on it. I was also thinking of driving down to Phoenix and catching a Coyotes vs Lightning game. Tickets there start at $12!

Yeah, I totally agree. The cheapest I found was $86 per for nosebleeds in the corner. I'll chalk it up to being the only pro sports team in town that they cn charge whatever? That being said, my BIL was down in Vegas and they were able to score $120 seats for $50 each for inaugural season opener the night of.

That's actually a pretty crazy stat when you consider Vancouver's defenive history.

Bieksa, Diduck, Lumme, Salo, Babych, Ohlund, Jovocop, Lidster, Hedican, Aucoin, and Murzyn are all long term Canucks D who put up the points.

Well done, Edler?

:ahwow:

Why did the Canucks recall Demko? Neither Markstrom nor Nilsson are showing as injured?

Cap purposes. My best guess is (if I can do Laurence Gilman justice) is that they maximize their cap spending so that when they have to put BoHo on LTIR, they have full utility of his salary for relief.

They did the same thing earlier this year when Demko came up for a day.

Bad news indeed. :fuuuuu:

Vancouver Canucks
✔ @Canucks

.@BoHorvat suffered a foot fracture and will be out of the line-up for multiple weeks, up to six. A firmer timeline will be available after he is seen by a specialist.

Nice job, MEI.... those Mennonites - music is next to godliness. Nice arrangement of O' Canada. Music is alive in our schools! Too bad some of the fans thought they were more important. Dumbass fans. No class. Anyway, it is what it is................
