A Mississauga, Ont., man is stunned after witnessing and filming a woman make several demands for a "white doctor" who "doesn't have brown teeth" and "speaks English" at his local walk-in clinic on Sunday.

the racists are coming out of the woodwork in canada its weird af... seeing ppl wearing Sons of Odin vests around lately like wtf
guess this is what happens when we had years of kooky conservatives letting the reins loose
if someone's in their 80s in rural Canada prefers to see a 'white' doctor...meh
but some racist bitch making a big fuss about 'brown teeth' in front of her kid and making every other patient uncomfortable? i hope she gets her name released.
although the problem at the core really isn't that much different than asking for a female or male doctor but that's another can of worms.
the funny thing is I have been to the walk in clinic more then once and have heard a non white person ask for a non white doctor... Now a white person does it and it's racist? If someone has a preference on the type of doctor they want they honestly have that right since it's really about being comfortable.
Yes I agree she should of approached it in a different manner but still this story is getting blown out of proportion in my eyes.

She's the definition of trailer trash. It can be frustrating when you're trying to get care and the person you're speaking to has broken English and is hard to understand but it shouldn't be about race.
The way she went about this and was acting was wrong on every level. She's making a huge scene, her kid is watching and she's teaching them how not to act. I'll admit sometimes as a dad I say stupid shit, my kid will call me on it and I love it I tell him he's right.
This dumb bitch needs a bolt to the head slaughterhouse style.

It's one thing to ask for a doctor by name...and i've seen this a few times too. ie. Asian person asking for Dr. Lee or Dr. Wong vs Dr. Smith who's available right now.
But to ask flat out based on the skin color or ethnicity is racist as fuck and definitely not blown out of proportion. Act stupid, get treated like an idiot. Yes, it's about being comfortable with the doctor, but the manner that you approach isn't, "IS THERE NOT A WHITE DOCTOR IN THIS BUILDING."
and god fucking damn it, it's "should have" or "should've" not "should of". lol

Both are racist IMO. But if they just want someone who speaks there language then that's something different
It is understandable patients will want the best care and will feel more comfortable with a doctor who can understand and empathize with them. Not having that kind of doctor available, I would expect a patient to either see the doctor who is available or go somewhere else. Anything beyond that is unreasonable, especially in a first come, first serve walk-in clinic. Canada has standards for doctors which are supposed to ensure that patients should feel comfortable with any doctor of any background.
Tiger penis and dolphin snout cures all. Ancient Chinese secret.
So that's the secret...... *checks amazon for tiger penis
Back to the thread,
Go to Japan and get called a Gaijin. Not racist.
Go to South Africa and get called a Kaffir. Not racist.
I've been called a wop, daygo, goombah, mafia, and a guido. Apparently, that's not racist.
This bitch is an embarassment, but what do you expect with Canada's liberal view of immigration since the 60's?
Quote:
By 2031, one in three Canadians will belong to a visible minority. One in four will be foreign-born, the highest proportion since the end of the last wave of mass immigration that began around 1910
"We're already a nation that seems to divide itself into rural or urban, Quebec or anglophone. Are we now going to be cities with huge numbers of visible minorities and others where that's not so?" said Ratna Omidvar, executive director of the Maytree Foundation
Maybe it is just me, but when I got to the doctor, I am at the point where I really need to see a doctor about something. Which means I have bigger concerns than what gender or ethnicity my doctor is.
Generally the quality of care I receive varies based on other factors

I'm gonna come clean and admit that I prefer white doctors or really westernized asian/EI doctors as they have a higher chance they really wanted to be a doctor to help people instead of being forced to become a doctor even though they hate it due to parents or money/prestige. Bonus points if they did some volunteering in some shithole third world country.
