Are they going to prequel to the first moon landing? Thought it was pretty interesting that Enterprise opening feature sailing ships when I first saw it. I was like WTF? Coming from TOS, I got used to always seeing the main ship/base.
It's been a road time. Gettin' from there to here.

Amazing series. Highly recommend even if you are not a hardcore Star Trek fan.

Might as well start throwing out alien titties.
Not sure if those fbombs were required. I felt like it detracted from the show.

Star Trek is supposed to be about the pinnacle of human evolution where level headed thinking and reasoning prevails. Dropping that F bomb is just stupid.

It was definitely out of place......... now that fucking Harry Mudd. I can see him dropping one or two or a dozen. And, those two weren't gay..........
Gaydars don't work in space. Sensors are down. Gulolol.

I don't see any issues with it. One of the main points of this series is to show that things ARENT so perfect as it has always been portrayed. Sure enough, people will still swear in the future.
I think they picked a time to use it when they thought it would be least offensive or vulgar (ie. pairing it with something positive "fucking cool") rather than what we're used to hearing (ie. fuck you you fucking piece of shit), which is why people find it "out of place".

There seems to be some 'leftovers' in this series.
Also they have sworn in the movies, even Data which was a great gag
As for gay couples, they've had everything from gay to straight to everything in between, including Riker falling in love with an asexual being (which was an allegory for a gay human in an amazing episode)

That one seemed to have the right context.
It makes sense that it's early and that it was a positive fbomb. Wasn't expecting it still. Especially out of the socially awkward nerd. It's like hearing your grandparents swear.

That admiral is hot! I honestly don't see why they were giving the captain a hard time though. It makes sense to rescue a diplomat that could end the war. WTF is this admiral thinking going into a meeting blind with a race that's known for war. LOL.

Only 5 episodes deep, and renewed. I'm glad that it did, because this show is so good.

I totally thought she was going to die in that trap. It wasn't very Klingon like to keep her alive. |

They are just trying to milk the franchise for everything they can now. Just let it die already.

I really like the direction they took the show, and I'm glad I stuck around. First couple episodes were rough.
What I don't like is that there are only maybe 4 characters we really know about. The entire bridge crew are a bunch of weird looking people/aliens who we know nothing about. Hopefully they get developed in coming seasons.

^^^
The first 4 episodes left me feeling pretty hopeless for a decent series. Good to know it picks up. It was shocking how un-Star Trek those episodes were.
