With the advancements in HIV treatments this seems fair with the caveat that the person should be undergoing treatment at the time (and hence the risk of passing HIV is very low).

The person should be upfront before and if you are infected they should be prosecuted/sued.

i think most of you forget that one can be HIV+ and not even know it
if you're promiscuous, you just need to treat everyone like they have VD
there's lesser merit in the honour system than you think because of unknown carriers. Quote:

Thankfully social networking can often find a friend or a friend of a friend who knows the person and a bit about their past history and can fill you in. If you find one who's been known to take a dickin' on a regular basis with different guys every week and is willing to hook up after a few hours of talking..back away. As tempting as it may be to get laid, you need to think with your big head and not your dick. True story - 2 guys I know ended up doing the same girl on the same day just hours apart without even knowing they were each talking to the same person from Tinder.
Routine check ups should be a common knowledge practice these days.
I don't see why someone wouldn't tell their soon to be slam that they're positive... is it because they know they wouldn't be there if they were honest to them about it?
