^^That'll be my second "one that got away" car. I slept on it big time and should have reached out to you long before BaT was even a consideration. I figured it would be been a $20K+ CAD car all damn day. Sorry to hear about your shitty BaT experience. You nor that car deserved it. Bad timing, BaT E30 saturation, forced low reserve; all unfortunate.

sorry if this comes too blunt, so it could've fetched 15 large in greenbacks instead of 12...life goes on, it's a non-M over-designed like 40 years ago and you've owned much more interesting vehicles like vintage Z and P-cars
doesn't seem worth losing sleep over, just see it saving yourself from more VI's, and that you gave someone a good deal who's going to take good care of it (I read the comments on your BaT listing)

The fact I'm going through with the sale and not trying to slimeball my way out is a pretty good showing of letting life move on, I don't need some random on the internet telling me what I should or shouldn't value.

didn't mean anything negative from my previous post, and good for you for sticking to your morals of seeing the transaction to completion
i'm not judging, was just a bit of a head-scratcher, that's all
all i was pointing out was if someone has the means to own both E30 and 911, selling for 3k less isn't the end of the world
big deal, not everyone on a public forum has to agree with each other nor see value similarly, i was only trying to help you get over it
in the end, it makes zero difference to me if you donated it to charity or cashed in on one of those suckers who'll pay 40 large for an Integra

Not mine, but my mom's newest purchase and I'm totally jealous.
1999 Miata 5 spd with soft and hard top, just 95k on it and paid $5000. She bought it off an elderly couple down the street. She is so happy to have some freedom back after having to share a gas guzzling suv with my controlling dad.

I love these stories. You get so sick of the CL games that a good deal from a good neighbor is heartwarming.
I told my wife she was wasting her time selling her car with an old school neon for sale sign and that she was welcome to ask me to post it up on CL for her and try to weed out the flakes
She sold it to a neighbor 2 days later.

The FiST is definitely a blast to drive, but unfortunately, the seats and/or driving position isn't suitable for everyone.
