No thread yet? Letsgo!

SkinnyPupp 02-09-2018 04:43 PM

I wish CBC would serve overseas Canadians with a stream FeelsBadMan

Berzerker 02-09-2018 04:52 PM

I'm sure a man with your "abilities" should be able to find a stream

Berz out.

On another note, one of the Canadian curlers is hot as hell!

CBC playing the opening encode soon too.

There are a few countries that are joining for the first time, like Singapore and Malaysia are one of them lol

dbaz 02-09-2018 05:16 PM

I thought cbc stream wasn't blocked this year.

Yeh I just want simplicity and not have to deal with scammy sites... I guess I'll look around for an ace stream

Nope, says "technical difficulties" which actually is even more annoying than saying my country is blocked

DragonChi 02-09-2018 07:01 PM

Lol, pretty embarrassing for Russia not to fly their flag. Then comes Hk with theirs and Taiwan can't fly theirs with either.

I wonder if they had an Olympics in North Korea, would they fly the reunification flag.

You’ve discovered this now? Curling is like beach volleyball of the Winter Olympics. There’s at least one hottie on every team. Well, almost every team. Gulolol.

DragonChi 02-09-2018 07:46 PM

Yup, I dont really follow the Olympics or curling.

Homan for gold. Glad she's made it to the Olympics

MG1 02-09-2018 08:36 PM

The Chinese Women's Curling Team had zero hotties on their team................. has this changed? Actually, none of the Asian countries do. The Euro teams, ftw!

My favourite....... Jennifer Jones. She could be 105 and still turn heads. NVM. :troll:

Hondaracer 02-09-2018 09:01 PM

Go Canada!

I’ve always loved the olympics but after 2010 it really ramped up for me, rio was amazing

Diff time zones though def throws a wrench into live events

Some event times arent completely horrible if you look thru the schedule. They've made it so alot of the key event finals and gold medal games and north american interest games are in the evening our time instead of middle of the night like in sochi.

Anyone find a good schedule either online or app?

It certainly wasn't the focus when the sport entered the games in what, 1998 or what ever it was. Either more beautiful people started taking an interest in curling after that, the sport itself decided to focus on looks and youth, or a bit of both.

She was the hottie I was talking about!

That young blood. My god.

I forgot how much of a powerhouse Canada was in the Olympic games. When CBC was showing the population and athletes, we were pumping out champs like we had 200 million people.

68style 02-10-2018 08:23 AM

I’m actually a little bit excited for hockey, fun (?) as it is to watch canada always steamroll everyone it might be kind of interesting to see how this rag-tag group of guys comes together getting 1 last shot at glory that they never in a million years would have had otherwise.

I’m trying to imagine myself cheering Linden Vey on and it feels wrong somehow... but I’m going to go with it? Hahaha

Also enjoyed the fact Brian Gionta is the oldest participant at the games. Didn’t so much enjoy the fact he’s almost a year younger than me.

Tim Budong 02-10-2018 09:07 AM

the women's hockey was great today
that Japanese team is fun to watch!
