for christ's sake no one is saying people who NEED help shouldn't receive it.
the whole point of taxation is to improve society. no one has a problem with that.
it's when it becomes an enabler to counter-productivity, and/or drug use, that people, rightfully so, become aggravated.
at that point, it's not helping society. it's hindering it.

So you believe social housing in gentrified areas allows MORE people to do drugs than if they were on the street?
I’d say your grievance is pretty misguided, or perhaps you can clarify if that is based on the context of a basic income so people can be able to accomplish finding housing on their own?

Of course there will be those that take advantage of the system. Does that mean get rid of the system, or step back and actually analyze data to see the effectiveness of the system?
