Probably new on the job

his supervisor is telling him repeatedly to back off and he still advances to pick up his helmet afterwards.

looks like a Hybrid, fuel tank or battery cell that went off?

AstulzerRZD 10-06-2018 12:36 PM

The Hybrid will be the trim to get - more power, better fuel economy, and hopefully better refinement.

The new Dynamic Force 2.5 was pretty rough in the Camry I drove.

Some interesting colour choices! No Galactic Aqua Mica or Black Currant however...

embargo has been lifted

Decent power on the 2.5L and starting to like to Rugged looks. kinda like a mini 4-runner

Gonna message Toyota see if I can get one of these

CorneringArtist 11-20-2018 08:34 AM

19's on the Adventure trim? Downsize and throw KO2's on it and you'll have a decent soft-roader for service roads.

twitchyzero 11-20-2018 10:12 PM

cause i'm a pretentious basic bitch
give me a TRD Pro with V6 and a bitchin' paint job...under 50k please

thumper 11-21-2018 03:59 AM

twitchyzero 11-21-2018 08:59 PM

cells in the Hybrid is still going to be NiMH
seems 20th century to me (what i used in my R/C toys in the 90s)
everyone else says it's proven compared to Li+ though, I'm not convinced

This is a interesting article that compares the two top dogs although I feel Motor Trend has stocks in Honda lol They named the Accord superior to the Camry as well ( Which I agree with). Cant wait for the next Honda event so I can compare both in person.

On a off topic/side note, Honda is reviving the Passport. Which is already out in Asia under the name U-RV. I think its going to sit somewhere between the CRV and the Pilot. I reckon its going to be a bigger, sportier version of the CrossTour.

As a guy that drove a few CRV, I feel the biggest let down for the interior is 2 things. 1, the shifter it's always this wobbly shaky shifter. 2, the infotainment system has aged, it NEEDS the better one from the accord/odyessy/pilot

And Honda Canada teased the Passport not too long ago on one of their post, very interested to see this. But in the pics they teased it doesn't have the sloping rear end as the UR-v

Just read the review on the 300hp camry. toss that motor in this rav4 and it'll be the first brand new car that i'll buy off the lot. Until then, i think i'll keep my 09 rav v6 sport.

I don't think the v6 would fit, the Camry's engine bay is larger.

I totally agree that the CRV needs a update on the infotainment. I think the 2019's are just around the corner and hopefully they get the update.

I thought the photo Honda Canada teased was just a picture of a Pilot lol I never really looked up close until now. Now I'm super curious to see what it will look like.

I thought it was the Pilot as well, but the D pillar looks a bit different in the teased pic there's a cut line where the roofline is that leads to the spoiler, the pilot has a crease line there but not a hard dual cut like the indicated picture.

All they did was take the pilot shorten it, take out the 3rd row. Give it an extra inch of ground clearance and call it a brand new car

jing 11-27-2018 04:19 PM

Upper profile reminds me of the first gen X5.

The tail lights look incomplete.

Yeah its basically a Pilot for people that don't need the 3rd row. Its going to be competition for the Cherokee and the 4Runner.

I wish they put a proper 4x4 system and beefed it up with wheels and suspension to make it a bit more bad ass. Also, Im not at all a fan of the rear end but will wait till I see it in person.

My source was way wrong about the Passport being the UR-V though. Will never trust that person for news again lol

^seems more like a Highlander competitor imo

Nah the Highlander is Pilot's competitor with the size.

They say 2-row SUVs like the Santa Fe, Ford Edge, Grand Cherokee and the new Blazer

Hope it has a real transmission. Have a new CRV at home. Great car for the wife, but even she likes the 2008 crv engine/transmission better. This snowmobile/cvt transmission is awful. Besides the engine, the vehicle really is great though.

9-speed auto, same as the pilot

twitchyzero 11-28-2018 08:33 PM
