I'm sure I will get flack for saying this but I couldn't stand the hip or their music, yes its Canadian music and all but him getting cancer didn't change my opinion of the music and I know a lot of people thought the same of me as well.

the hip suck.

People came out of the woodwork because Downie had a drawn out death, im sure a lot of people couldnt name 5 of their songs who were crying over the CBC concert. A canadian icon no doubt, but their music is trash.
