Rather than headlines about tweets, how trade wars are bad, and back and forth comments.
No one is providing any actual subject matter.

Hello buddy? Have you been hiding under a rock in the past year and a half? How many times have Trump been factually proven that he is dead wrong, and yet he continues to march to the same tune, and living in the same alternative universe that he chooses to live in?

I really shouldn't be surprised since you spend a fair bit of time in that alternative facts universe as well...

"It's not what you know; it's what you can prove."

He knows he can be factually wrong and get away with it because he knows how to game the system just like all the presidents, politicians, lobbyists, wall street businessmen, etc before him. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

He would be impeached yesterday if there was enough to go on.

I dunno. He seems to be winning pretty damn good for his country.

Sure, he's pissing people off. But that doesn't necessarily make him wrong.
And if any third party EVER attempted to attack any of the US' many friends, including us of course, the first thing we'd hear is the sound of US military boots. That's not going to change.

the problem is that trump supporters don't care about facts. they think facts are fake news, and alternative facts are real news.

For the most part, news media is about generating clicks to draw traffic for advertisers. No one has time to investigate or even read the full article anymore before forming an opinion. People who lean heavily to one side or the other on a given subject seem to be more susceptible to this. Hence why we still see thoroughly debunked issues persist in the news such as the gender wage gap, the pink tax, solar roadways, etc. I can't count the times CBC has been presenting an issue I actually agree with them on, but I know they are omitting or misrepresenting facts to push a narrative I can't get behind.

Companies should just fire all their male employees, replace them with females for 70% of the cost, and then sell them gender-price discrimination goods that have a 40% higher price. Profit!

Larry Kudlow, the dude who blasted Trudeau had a heart attack...

Quote:

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow was hospitalized Monday after an apparent heart attack.

News of Kudlow’s medical condition was made public by President Trump as he prepared to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Kudlow, 70, had spent much of Sunday defending his own comments about the president’s appearance at the G-7 meetings in Quebec, Canada, and a news conference by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“He really kind of stabbed us in the back,” Kudlow said of Trudeau.

I read that it was made public knowledge only years after the fact

not right after G8 was wrapped up and not while a multi-country trade treaty was up in the air

Rodman

I personally think the US is not going to back off with its military hardware nor open up its financial system to north Korea... a minimal peace treaty might take place.

The G7 gods were NOT happy with him popping off. Maybe he is going to that special place in hell to check it out first.

I'll be sure to send along some thoughts and prayers.

MG1 06-11-2018 08:13 PM

Yup, publicly telling people a world leader has a special place in hell is very poor form.

You and I can tell Trump to go to hell, but anyone representing a country or in his position should show some class. Then again, anything and anyone related to trump has no class. That's what Donald brings out in people. Negativity and poor behaviour.

god bless, amurica

I thought they wanted him out of power and not become best buddies with them?

Any deal is a win for kim if he gets to stay in power. That's all his family has ever wanted.

I guess your O.K. with him kidnapping, torturing and killing people?

twitchyzero 06-11-2018 09:12 PM

what were you expecting at this summit? they storm Singapore with Navy SEALs and hog-tie Kim out of the room?
and Rome was built overnight?
just because I applaud Trump in some areas does not mean im okay with all of his policies
just because I think Trudeau is a fruitcake does not mean I liked team Harper better
and yes Kim deserves a bit of credit for doing almost a 180 within a few months

whitev70r 06-11-2018 09:13 PM

Trudeau too left. Harper too right. Does Chretien have a son or daughter who can replace Trudeau?

I guess you don't understand how summits usually work. Months of negotiations happen before hand so something actually gets accomplished.

How has anything really changed? Do you want him to stay in power?

GS8 06-11-2018 09:23 PM

Trump still miles better than George HW Bush.

(So far)

yeah not Trump ones

may be you didn't see that his administration wasn't even aware of Trudeau's position until they left the g7 summit

I don't know...I do believe if you remove Kim's regime immediately, the entire Asia Pacific will destabilize....that void in the vacuum does nobody any good, not even China

it needs to be a process that is long term

just having a PoTUS and a Kim in a room is already an achievement
