Trump thread 2.0

In classic alpha Trumpian form.
Gets Kim to the table then pulls the chair out from under him.

Manic! 05-25-2018 09:22 PM

You give him way to much credit.

Jmac 05-25-2018 10:02 PM

Did the old thread get deleted?

Haven't paid much attention to it in months since it became a shitshow.

So Obama flies hundreds of millions in cash to Iran secretly, literally protects Hezbollahs international criminal enterprise, and pretty much allows the ayatollah to walk all over him in order to consolidate his failed nuclear deal.
Meanwhile, Trump has 3 hostages released, a nuclear test site dismantled and Kim practically groveling to hold a summit with him, at zero cost to tax payers.

But yea, guys a fucking idiot.

I know how much you can't stand to see him winning (and by definition, the US) but don't fret. Mid terms are right around the corner. That "blue wave" we've all heard so much about will certainly come crashing down on victory.
But wait. What's this?
Bye, Bye Blue Wave! New Poll Spells DISASTER For Dems in November Midterms ? Truthfeed

The poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters from January through March of this year. The data shows that only 49 percent of voters between the ages of 18-34 are likely to support a Democrat, a nearly 10 percent drop from the 2016 iteration of Reuters’ poll.

While “overt” support for the Republican party did not change from 2016, the same amount of young voters (39 percent) now say they would support a Republican for Congress as a Democrat, erasing the 14 percent gap in the 2016 poll.

Additionally, millennials are now almost evenly split on which party has a better economic plan: 34 percent favored Democrats on the issue, while 32 percent favored Republicans. In 2016, Democrats outperformed Republicans on the economic question by 12 points.

I really could care less about the whole Trump v. Obama debate. But, what I do find problematic is your above stated claim and your use of it to support your argument. You clearly rely on it to undermine the credibility of one individual over the other when, in fact, the argument you present has no validity whatsoever and runs contrary to the factual evidence:

16,000. that's a pretty fair size sample.
plenty can happen between now and november, of course. plenty already has.

ps, quite enjoying how butthurt you've shown to be lately, hanging off every post. even throwing a few fails out here and there.
flattery will get you nowhere :)

so according to the obama administration, the obama administration did not pay ransom for hostages. got it.
even though the cash was flown out in the dead of night the exact same day hostages were released.
i'm pretty biased towards trump, i'll admit (what can i say, the guy makes me laugh). but i'm not void of every last ounce of common sense.
i like how snopes bases their conclusion on technicalities (bribe).
i wonder what the obama administration has to say about abetting hezbollahs international criminal enterprise used to fund their terrorist acts.

and hey, i don't care much for the obama/trump comparisons either. but what other metric would you figure to gauge judgement? the economy? unemployment? consumer optimism? jobs reshored?
maybe we should just rely on the media to tell us how absolutely terrible he's doing.

68style 05-26-2018 10:51 AM

Am spending time in the USA right now, regardless of whatever stories are real or fake their tv networks are a complete fucking shitshow... I saw a channel with a senior citizen aged guy sitting in a library looking room and all he was doing was doing was talking quietly and convincingly about how scared he is of everything and how you should be too... I can only imagine all the seniors watching this shit and being afraid of everything for no reason. Can’t believe the fear mongering down here, quite frankly it’s disgusting. An entire generation at risk of being lost to mindless drivel.

Seems like 99% of the people I know use pure emotion for their political opinions. Whether that's Canadian or American, they can rarely identify political stances of their preferred candidates blind without looking them up on yahoo.

blkgsr 05-26-2018 11:48 AM

i honestly just care about his opening up of parks/lands to drilling etc and other steps he's taking back on the environment

he can talk all he wants about a wall or peach talks with korea (which would actually be a good thing) and he can continue to bolster his own private interested by spending millions at his trump resorts.....just stop fucking up the environment for the rest of us

also a lot of his "jesus" minded cohorts who are forcing their religious mindsets on laws being based...that needs to stop too

But yea, guys a fucking idiot.

- The millions of cash given to Iran was actually Iran's money to begin with ($400 Million: Why the U.S. Owed Iran in the First Place | Time)
- The nuclear deal was actually a great deal according to Trumps own ex-advisors (even Rex Tillerson supported the Iran deal). This deal allowed international watch dogs to enter Iran at any given time to inspect all facilities to ensure no nuclear refinement was actually happening to the point of being able to ever create a nuclear weapon

welfare 05-26-2018 12:19 PM

all facilities?
nope

and regardless whether the money was theirs originally or not, it was clearly exchanged for hostages. that sets the president that hostages can be taken and negotiated over. it's the reason why the policy exists in the first place.

That was quite the little dance wasn't it?
I wonder how loud Kim will bark after the next military exercise before the summit...

I think you meant;
Precedent:
An earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances.

I'll let myself out now.

ABC just cancelled Roseanne Barrs TV show Because she compared one of Obama's advisors to a monkey. Trump supporters are going to be pissed. Also a lot of people just lost there jobs.

https://www.eonline.com/news/939725/...fensive-tweets

Quote:

Roseanne is no more.

After Roseanne Barr's latest offensive tweets aimed at former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey has announced that the show will not be returning for an 11th season this fall after all.

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," the brief statement said.

Following Barr's outburst, co-star Sara Gilbert took to Twitter to express her disappointment, writing, "Roseanne's recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least."

Story developing...
