Is the reason that Cheeto is threatening a military attack on Venezuela is that country's large oil reserves? A bully shaking down on a country and using the reason of "drugs" as a smokescreen?
The United States appears ready for war with Venezuela, a prospect that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro this weekend attributed to America’s desire to control the country's vast oil reserves.
The US State Department has denied that oil played a central role in America’s military sending more than a dozen warships and 15,000 troops to the region – or that oil is behind President Donald Trumps warnings that land strikes could be imminent and planes should avoid Venezuelan air space. Instead, the Trump administration says its military threats are part of Americas effort to stop flows of undocumented migrants and illegal drugs from Venezuela.
Whatever the rationale behind the rapidly intensifying situation in the Caribbean, if regime change is coming to Venezuela, the largest proven oil reserve on Earth will play a central role in the country’s future.
Most people associate large oil stockpiles with the Middle East or Texas, but Venezuela is sitting on a massive 303 billion barrels worth of crude – about a fifth of the world’s global reserves, according to the US Energy Information Administration. It’s the planet’s single-largest known mass of crude oil.
Did you see on Airforce 1 the other day when he told the female asian reporter right in her face "You're stupid!" and then turns to the other one who wasn't even talking "And you are too" and then he stumbles down the hallway with his hand against the wall, barely able to walk.
I don't understand for the life of me why, but I cannot find one single article out there about WHY it's okay that a private business man, ie: Jared Kushner, is accompanying Witkoff to meet Putin today to do a deal for peace in Ukraine.
Like... what's his security clearance? Why would a private business entity have direct say in these types of affairs? To me this is a MASSIVE scandal in the making and yet it's getting absolutely zero coverage besides just mentioning that it's happening. Crazy.

i figured we all knew that was the reason....and it's proximity to the US

Because Trump said it's OK! His supporters don't dare question him.

The Trump stumble as he tries to walk into Air Force One.
Oh yeah that's the one where Rubio pretended to stumble on the same step. That guy is a cartoon example of a complete toady, holy shit. Sometimes it's hard to believe people like that exist. Well it's easier than it was 10 years ago

Kushner is the "fixer", he's the one Trump sends out out to secure business deals for the Trump family. It's almost guaranteed the Trump family will make coin off whatever resulting peace deal that will be negotiated.
Venezuela is no different. Trump spoke about "America First" meanwhile he's sending billions to places like Argentina, and waging war in LATAM. Is it a coincidence Venezuela has the largest oil reserve in the world? Not a fucking chance
These cretins have been pushing for regime change to get rid of Maduro for over a decade now, Trump is heavily funded by the O&G industry, it's quite obvious what the goal is here.
Regime change, fully privatize their oil industry, job done. Fitting that it's all under the auspices of drug tracking, meanwhile he just pardoned the ex-president of Honduras, who was found guilty of exactly that
